Hey Tweedle Dee, I'm Tweedle Dumb

Hello everyone. :) I assume some of you are still reading my almost non-existent blog. I apologize for the lack of writing...once again.

A lot has happened recently. Our family has been sick for over a week; by a mixture of cold and flu, it won't leave us! I went to the doctor's yesterday and got a shot to help me feel better, though. Since my breathing is already...hindered, they made me do a breathing treatment and put me on some antibiotics. I should be doing better in the next few days. Hopefully.

Tomorrow I'm going to my Grandparent's house! I'll be leaving shortly after Government class, which I hope to be riding to-and-fro on my bike from. Grandma and I will probably go out to lunch at the mall like we usually do, then go to her house and let me unpack. I love going to their house. It's like...a break; it's relaxation. Whenever I try to insist on helping out with the chores she always tells me to sit and relax. I love my Grandparent's. They're just too cool. I mean, they spoil me to death, that I could live without, but seriously, they understand so much.

They even don't mind my rock music. I mean how many grandparent's like rock?! Seriously.

I have a Government test on Tuesday, and my first paper is due a week from tomorrow, next Thursday. I haven't started the paper yet...but it's only 3 pages, each page with double-spaced lines. So I mean, it'll probably take me a total of 4-hours if I buckle down. Really, I could get it done easily. I took Comm 1 so I'm used to the writing of papers. What I'm really nervous about is the test on Tuesday. I...don't do well testing. I'll be studying serious for the few days before the test, once I get back from my Grandparent's. I just keep praying I'll pass. The teacher is nice enough, so I should, right?

I'm really, really in love with Care Group. I mean, I loved being in the Dunlop Care group, but wow...this new Care Group...the one held by the DeWitt's at our house...I just...!!! Man, everyone there and everything God put's in their mouth's to share is so amazing. I'm blessed every time, every single thing they have to say. I've gotten to know people better, families such as the Brittain's, Maher's, and Naomi. I really, really love talking to them. It's so neat to know people that you can just...open up to and be familiar with right away, without even trying hard. It's so...It's just God, is what it is! He is very sovereign in His choosing of people to put into our group!!! Just as He's sovereign about everything else.

I picked up the book Humility (FINALLY, haha). It's a really good, not-hard-to-read book. I'm nearly done with it. As soon as I finish this one, I'll probably move onto something a bit more difficult; something to chew on.

Art...hmm, art class has been teaching me a lot. The teach really know's what he's talking about, I guess. At first I thought he was just crazy with how loose he wanted me to be...but it all worked out so that my proportioning with sizes is better! I hope to...use my art in the...near future. ^_^

Despite the raging health problems, life is pretty awesome. I'm dealing with struggles every day, finding more about God, and growing. Seems like a great, great life to me!

How crazy is it that it's already the middle of February, 2009??? My Birthday is in...*counts*....4 months and 20 days. I'll be 17! Holy cow. Felt like my 16th Birthday was just...yesterday! I'm very excited about 17, though. It's my favorite number. I've felt like God's been telling me that this year will be great. Mom reminded me that 'a great year' could also mean 'great trials'. I agree; that could be the very case. I could deal with loads of trials; but that just means I'll be enduring for His name's sake, and growing through it, right? Yes! This will definitely be a good year; big things are going to happen, I can tell!!!!!!!!!!

recent update, care group, family, lovelovelove, big year, time flies, sickly, people, grandparents, books
