Review: The Expendables
This is possibly the shortest, most accurate movie review I will ever post.
This movie is a guy movie, pure and simple. It features:
-Minimal dialogue with a basic storyline (we pay you to destroy things. Destroy this thing for us plzkthx)
-Big Name Bad Ass Actors (ranging from Jet Li to Steve Austin to Jason Statham, with cameos by Bruce Willis and Ahnold)
-Big Ass Explosions (they probably enough used explosives in this film to level a small city. It was impressive.)
-Questionable decisions made by the characters simply to foster aforementioned Big Ass Explosions
- Lots and lots of awesome-looking hand-to-hand combat.
All in all I'm glad I only paid five bucks to see this movie, but I don't regret seeing it. Unless you're really into explosions and MEN doing MANLY MAN things, though, this probably isn't the best movie omg ever. XD
