GDI Futurama, why do you have to periodically make me cry like a little girl?!
/should not have watched "Luck of the Fryrish". At least it wasn't "Jurassic Bark".
Also, neglected to mention that I went to a used bookstore with a friend on Saturday night and picked up some awesome goods, including:
- the Star Trek Technical Manual for Star Trek the Next Generation. (Covers the NCC 1701-D.)
- A volume of X-Men with a very surly Logan wearing a santa hat (after spotting that one I really had no choice)
- the very same Classic X-Men that
scdsam (yes, I'm naming you in my post again. X3) scanned for me a while back, because I couldn't not own it after reading it and eeeee this thing is just a year younger than I am. *clings to her piece of comics history*
- the first volume of Iron Man Stark: Disassembled which I could not pass up on given A) it's fairly new, B) IRON MAN, and C) Did y'all get a
look at those covers? WANT THEM ALL NOW PLEASE.
- Other assorted X-Men comics. No, no, really, I don't have a problem. /is a lying liar who lies
ALSO eeee new White Collar and Psych starting this week! And I caught up with Eureka and my guilty pleasure, Drop Dead Diva yesterday. \o/
First Avatar: the Last Airbender post is coming. I watched the first ten episodes last week before real life imploded on me and I had to put aside any and all writing in favor of work, cleaning (I CLEANED ALL OF THE THINGS, I DID), and more work. Still trying to coax the muse out from under my bed/in my closet/wherever she likes to hide, and I'm hoping to have her back out and in full force by the end of the week.
