My Dad came up this afternoon to help me assemble a canvas for painting class as well as give me shelves above my makeshift table-desk (I'm using our old kitchen table as a desk, because I needed the space and this sucker has plenty). While he was here, he made me hook up my Nintendo Wii to our wireless router.

I am never checking the internet for news again.

Or the weather.

Because it's all right there. And I get a ton more international news, which is what I like (can't accuse me of being a narrow-minded American who has no idea that there even is a world outside the USA!) and I can find even more news by scrolling the globe around on my screen.

I knew there was a reason why I sold most of my soul to Nintendo years ago.

In other news, augh, I'm either going to die from over-working my gorram short story for my writing of fiction class or die because I fail my second History of Medicine test tomorrow. D: I've spent more time this weekend doing homework than I have any other weekend this semester and it's making me seriously rethink trying to pull of 18 credit hours next semester. D:

...Actually, would anyone on here be willing to give my short story a brief looking over? I've always turned to my friends for revision work, and while I love the feedback they give me I fear they're starting to know my style too well. That doesn't mean I might not beg you to have a look at this thing, tempest_arashi.
