I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.

After over a decade, INUYASHA HAS FINALLY ENDED. And on a totally generic note, wtfnotfair. I haven't read that manga since like, the first eighty chapters or so, or even watched it since the first hundred episodes -- SO SAD THAT I DIDN'T NEED TO, EITHER. Way to not really ever develop your characters, Rumiko Takahashi, though I think I understand - sometimes, authors seem to think that they're developing their characters, when really they're...not.

Uh, saw the Miroku/Sango coming, BUT IT WAS STILL CUTE. I'd read the rest of the manga for them and Rin and Sesshoumaru, actually. XD;; STILL, THREE KIDS, so nice, but I'm going to agree with some of the comments onijutsu had in her thread when it was mentioned that it seemed like Sango went from kickass demon killer to baby maker, but I'm going to pretend that changes when her kidlets get older. THERE IS NO CANON AFTER THIS TO DENY ME MY FANON.

LOVED the little Rin/Sesshoumaru moment, but I've long loved their relationship and the notso!reluctant!daddy/adorable child moment made me squee. They almost make me wish there was a Rowling!Epilogue, so I could have seen what happened to them both when Rin grew up and Sesshoumaru kind of, sort of, had a teenager on his hands.

Inuyasha and Kagome was completely generic, sorry. I love them both and have shipped them since the beginning, but I really do wish there was more to their relationship. They really did seem to reset after _every_ last development of their relationship, and it was almost like they went two steps back for every step forward. BUT THEN AGAIN I'M ALSO GETTING VERY PICKY ABOUT HOW I THINK RELATIONSHIPS SHOULD PAN OUT, (AdaWesker, anyone?!) so that might be part of it.

Overall, though, I didn't mind it - I'm a little sad it's over, too. Even when I wasn't reading it, it was kind of nice to know in the back of my mind that somewhere that series was still going. 'Course, I have a history with this series that goes back to my early days with onijutsu, tempest_arashi, hayai-akurei, and hazuki_katako, so NOSTALGIA FTW. THERE IS SOME PART OF ME HALF-EXPECTING THE FANNISH DELUGE OF GOODS FROM OUR EARLY DAYS TO START AGAIN, Rae. You know the one I mean. I FEAR IT.
