I really love the 3DS version of Mercs. Skills and the ability to swap loadouts is amazing. It's so hard to go back to RE5 after the changes. Although with Revelations out today and RE6 on the horizon, I guess the heyday of the oldstyle mercs is kind of over.
Oh, good! I had been kinda waffling on the 3DS because on the whole I'm pretty lukewarm to the Wii - I have it for RE4 and a few Zelda titles, and that's about it - but that's really good to hear, and now I'm glad I committed to the 3DS first. I can invest in the PS Vita once the prices drop a bit. (Which I hope they will? Idk, I'll probably buy it around my birthday anyway.)
ALSO I JUST SAW YOUR STATUS AND REALIZED I DO NOT HAVE REVELATIONS YET.
So far, I am enjoying the 3DS. Surprisingly, I think I have more eshop games than actual cartridges, but I must admit spending a fair amount of time with the software that comes preloaded on the system. Face Raiders is kind of addictive. I wish the eshop was more userfriendly and intuitive, but it's not the worst interface ever

THINKGEEK'S GOT EM FOR A PRETTY REASONABLE PRICE. They're just sold out right now, I think. I was lucky to snag mine. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE CROSSOVER PICS WITH APPA. The Wild Adventures of Appa and Turret?
