spring break.....
i realize i don't update much and when i do it is very short.
but since it is spring break and all here's some actual words for you.
i'm watching sesame street right now, and the muppets are playing w/ puppets. why does that seem oddly like canibalism?
even though it doesn't quite feel like it yet its officially spring. i'm craving fruit and i've gone back to checking the job posting sites daily. if there are any future teachers who want my bookmark file for all the indy area schools let me know. its alphabetical school district by school district. i've signed up for the ball state teacher fair but w/ any luck i won't have to go. there's just so much desperation in the air there. and really i only got 1 interview from it that i wouldn't have already had. for the most part the schools that are there are looking to fill essentials and lots of them. i love the school districts walking around asking if people are special ed.
i've decided though, if someone wanted to make a ton of money they would create a way to keep a saved searchsoft basic application that you could upload from school district to school district. at least 70% of school districts use it and you have to re-enter all your info everytime. if i could just load one profile and then answer any additional non-standard questions it would save me lots of time and headache. its definitely a service i would pay for. i did however jsut discover that searchsoft is based here in indy. i should go down and visit, see if they like my idea.... or not.
