#082: 2013.
Hi.
It's 3plus am in the morning and I'm pretty much wide awake aha, prolly due to the Java Chips I had at Tampines Mall Starbucks with the girls:)) Had a really fun countdown party with them altho the rain was kind of a bitch and dampened the mood initially, cause most people just sat at the benches, where there's shelter from the rain, but we braved the rain to the stage to watch the perf up-close instead in the muddy grass. Sigh, shoes got stuck in the mud several times, yuck. But front row seats sia heh. Bryan Wong was a really good and professional host by remaining calm and keeping a smile on his face altho the rain was being a bummer by first, causing power failure, thus no lights initially tho they recovered the sound system, and secondly, making people unwilling to move to the stage there to participate and just, generally, unable to hype the crowd. Left midway at around 10plus with the girls to grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks and I FINALLY GOTTEN A STARBUCKS CARD before 2012 ends because I never really know how to get one LOL and lepak then headed back, yujing back home, while us to the stadium for the fireworks~~~ Glad the rain cleared at arnd 10plus, cause then there's FIREWORKS. Pretty, fantastic, fireworks up-close. Everyone's just mesmerised by the very sight of it, and it's not some cheapo fireworks, with minimal designs in a minute or so, no, it's a full 3 minutes of dazzling fireworks right after countdown and a subsequent of fireworks that was set off to the beat of Gangnam style. That spectacular sight for $3? Worth it. Made a spontaneous decision to play in the foam pool with Janet, Sylvia and Liying after the countdown HAHAHA it's damn fun omg, being covered in bubbles LOL. This thus marks a fun start to 2013.
Headed out of Tampines Stadium to Tampines interchange with bleeding feet heels/ankles/idk lol to board a bus home, partly confident that bus services were extended, and thankfully, bus 291 is one of the lucky bus services that were extended. Boarded 291 home with Sylvia and Liying and got home around 2plus whee
So now I'm just typing away at le laptop with a glass of champagne beside me hehe hoping that it'll counter the effects of the caffeine I had earlier on and make me drowsy LOL it's almost 4am omg. Packed weekend coming up, get to meet up with amazing people soon:)) Ok hope I get a job soon PLEASE:(
