5 more days to the 'A's.
Had econs and GP consultations today, which is technically ytd but whatever haha. Wanted to talk about the latter, cause consultations w Mr Tan tends to get off topic somehow LOL. Anw so we started talking, as in Yimei, Mr Tan and I, on the overseas uni vs local uni and such. He was saying that overseas uni are generally of a diff edu system than local uni, like less stressful than in Sg. Honestly, look at the limited seats and cut-off points for the various uni courses offered locally, plus the influx of intl scholars, how to compete sia. Mr Tan also said that there's a stark diff in his students who went overseas to further their studies and those who enrolled into local uni. Generally those who went overseas are like, exposed to other stuff and perhaps better off than those in local uni, who appeared to be struggling. Sometimes I still wonder why Elis Lee, who gotten 9 (freaking) distinctions chose to study in local uni despite having 2 scholarships offered to her to study in overseas uni. I mean sure, Sg's education system may be good but it's not exactly flawless. Then again, I can be a coward at times and not choose to go overseas due to reasons such as financial issues, homesickness, and definitely, discrimination lol.
Sigh idk where I'm going with this post lol hopefully the prospects of going to an overseas uni is able to motivate me for the next 3 weeks at least... My optimism and determination is slipping. Jy yt.
