#048: Making 2012 count.

Oh yeah, I survived 2011! A year of madness tbh. School's starting in about a week's time and I've barely started on my revision for my bio and chem tests #dead. But whatever, I shall enjoy myself today heh. #excuses Looking back to 2011, I had lots of fun. I did things I probably never thought I would try in Secondary School, things that may seem insignificant to you, but a whole lot of deal to me. I made mistakes, like any other year, set new goals, experience disappointment and made new (hopefully lasting!) friends. At this day last year, I would probably be either, chilling, or working. Kind of regretted working cause it took all my fun away, all my freedom away. But then again, I earned money, more than enough to buy this laptop that I'm using rn. #proud I remembered getting back my results on the 10th Jan (?) last year, cried, yes cried, because I gotten 5As only, and my higher chinese was a C6. Lol, laugh all you want, and yes I know how foolish I had been. Although I had 5As, compared to my friends' 6/7A's, I still managed to get into Temasek JC, and the C6 for HCL was a close shave. Any grade lower and I probably would have to head for Meridian JC instead. Not that I mind (at that time).

Okay sorry, this is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally gonna be a lengthy post. Heh.
So after getting the results, there's the Open House for both TJ and MJ, and tbqh, I was more impressed by MJ's Open House than TJ's. Yup, but as you and I know, okay maybe you don't lol, but I ended up in TJ, feeling a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit disappointed, mainly cause ly and yy had already chose MJ as their 1st choice and they got in, while hj chose and got into VJ. But now, I don't regretted choosing TJ. It's in TJ that I met amazing people, like the forever happening 21/11 :D

Then of course, there's my favourite PPG +1, who, though I emo-ed at times, angst-ed at times, did embarrassing stuff at times, laughed like a mad woman who can't stop at times, keep talking on the phone non-stop and refusing to put down the phone at times, never leave me and helped me make life in TJ much more bearable and for that, I'm immensely grateful and feel extremely blessed. I love you girls.
