#42: Strengthening Bonds. (I)
Hi, just had an eventful week.
There's my Grandpa's birthday dinner on the 13th Nov, followed by an OGL interview on the 14th, then an outing with my awesome lovelies on the 15th, Bio test on the 17th followed by a tour round Expo's food fair w Mabel and Shimin, cousin's wedding on the 18th, and some birthday event tmr at my house for my Grandpa cause my grandparents are living with us. So yup, busy busy week.
So basically, my Grandpa's birthday is tomorrow, but my relatives pushed it forward before my cousin's wedding cause they say my Grandpa's birthday bigger, if you get what I mean. The dinner was held at the usual Teochew restaurant, booked by my parents as per usual, and almost the same types of dishes. For the OGL interview, thanks to a certain (wonderful, awesome, amazing ttm) Alpha HC member, Mabel and I had some help in our preparation for the interview. Charmaine taught us what she assumed was the Alpha cheer thru the phone and I had an interesting and hilarious convo with them both. Heehee love them both ;) Met Walter, XinHan, Shimin and Mabel at Kungfu Paradise to have our lunch before the interview. Tbh I didn't do much stupid stuff cause they didn't ask me to but I hope its sufficient. Sigh.
Then there's the outing with Liying, Huijie and Yuyun! <3 I was the first to arrive at Orchard MRT station, so waited for about 15 mins for Yuyun to arrive. Originally wanted to shop at Far East, but decided to make do with Forever 21 nearby while waiting for the rest. Bought a really nice pencil skirt, suitable for office wear, shall post here next time. ;) Anw, then we wanted to walk to Far East but we walked in the opposite direction I think, so my feet are pretty much aching by the time we reached H&M, which, in my opinion, is overrated. So we tried walking back and gave up and took the bus to this western restaurant in Tanjong Katong, but the prices aint that affordable, unfortunately. So we walked around and I brought them to the chicken rice shop that Mabel brought Shimin and I to before. The food there is rather nice, so we walked around and to this ice-cream shop called Ice-Cream Gallery. Four of us shared a cup (about the size of a bowl) of ice cream (3 scoops - caramel, yogurt and one other flavour), I bought a brownie and Liying bought a milkshake with vanilla ice cream~ We cam whored a bit then headed back to Paya Lebar MRT station, where we continued our camwhoring heehee. Had a really crazy day with them ;) Took bus 28 with Liying back home, and had a really nice chat with her. :)
