Years ago it felt like you could find obscure fandoms and scanlations of manga so easily online. Now it feels like everything is owned by one of the big social media sites and those smaller niche groups no longer exist. This is my life as I take part in dead fandoms as part of quarantine life (and lets be serious life outside of quarantine too) and I just miss something about the internet years ago before copyright law was so stringent.
Moral of the story is 10 Dance is an intense manga and one I have a deep need to see through and think about more and there is maybe one other fan on tumblr who is still interested (I've already spoken to them and we had much squeeing but its hard to form fandom connections when neither of you create content)
THIS ALSO APPLIES TO GRAVITATION. I MISS YOU. THERES AT LEAST ONE ACTIVE FAN IN THAT COMMUNITY AND I STARE AT THEIR JOURNAL FOR HOURS.
This is a lighthearted entry. But it isn't lighthearted times. But I don't want to record the historical moment here beyond engaging in things that make me happy. When I look back I want to remember that things weren't all bad.
This is also a video that makes me think of that:
