(no subject)
I had a nice weekend at home. That was until my laptop met the pavement. Now it's really not working right. It has taken a beating from me and its not even a year old yet. I'm considering sending it back to the company and paying whatever it is to fix it because it should still be cheaper than buying a new one. I just bought a car and I'm trying to save up some money not spend more.
On the bright side the wedding was a lot of fun. I danced and got ::gasp:: complimented?!?! Guess busting out figure skating moves is a good strategy? I got to do an ambulance call on saturday and that turned into me going to a benefit for one of the margate fire captains. It was a fun event for a good cause. My whole dept was there. Best park was I got to see my COOKIE! It was very nice we caught up a little. I hope we can see each other again before summer ends.
So now I had a crappy day in the lab where nothing worked yesterday. I have my 3rd membrane probing right now 1.5 hours left in that. i just got my rats but I need to talk to Tim to confirm my training protocol.
I'm holding up OK aside from my laptop which is really making me quite distraught. Luckily I have the irreplaceable things backed up.
I'll be home this weekend most likely for the holiday. It'll be stop and go traffic so I won't be in till late.
