Friends lost and misunderstandings
It feels sooo bad to find out that a friendship you have held close to your heart for years is only really one sided.
I had asked K out for a nice day in brisbane for today.... about 1 month ago maybe more and kept up the reminders now despite her swearing that she would be here she is not saying that she was called into work.... now i understand being called into work, but she also quite plainly said that she forgot :( now this says to me that she obviously doesn't care half as much about the friendship as I do..... now I could forgive a once off forgetting and the occasional excuse but this has been a thing between us since this friendship started and it still continues.... sadly im not surprised that she didn't show, I don't think I need this in my life so I am now leaving it up to her to contact me if she wants this friendship to continue... thus i am going to guess that this friendship is going to pass into the folds of time and ultimatly forgotten by those that don't hold it as anything special.
On a bright note I did however enjoy my day out in brisbane, the markets were nice (still very arty) and there was a run for weetbix happening.... ?? always something happening here :)
I love what they have done to southbank (ie all the water works) so anyway I prob will be moving back here in the comming weeks 2.5 weeks to be accurate if all goes to plan.
I may just be too harsh on my expectations of people, I don't know.... why do i let myself get hurt like this.
