"Qui peux plus demander?"

Yaaah! LJ's back! It was down for awhile; I couldn't comment or post :\

Lots of stuff... I had a ton of dreams, but I'll save those for another post.

Last night Dad spent over $100 on a new rat cage. Overnight, Mirabelle had gnawed two more holes in the tubing, so Dad decided it was time for it to go. Now they're living in a very tall bird cage. They spend all day climbing up the walls and sticks that are in there. They seem a lot happier now that they have all sorts of things to climb on. Diana talked to the manager (the entire store, it seems, owns rats) and she recommended a book about training rats to do tricks. We're also supposed to get them leashes so we can take them for walks and buy lots of toys so we can alternate their playthings in the cage because they get board easily.

Last night was also the IB College Fair. They invited a bunch of Washington colleges to come and answer Ludgate's questions (UPS, UW, WU, WWU, SPU, SLU and Evergreen were there). Basically, I learned absolutely zippo and had to sit still for 3 hours. I like the guy from Evergreen and I'd probably go there if they weren't the "make-you-own-major" school. UW is now crossed off my list, even as a backup school. The representative they had sounded so back wards and frumpily conventional, and he certainly didn't seem to impressed with IB. I want credit for my full freshmen year, dammit, and I'm going somewhere where I'll get it. I still think I like Seattle U the best; it looks like they'll be challenging, offer the programmes I want and give me credit for IB.

I'm joining our school's book club, which I never knew existed until today. They're reading Sophie's World which is a fictional story about philosophy, I believe. Not too impressed with them today, but not many of them are far in the book. Hopefully things will improve. Also, in a lovely attempt to boost my transcript, I'm going to start spending my free periods helping out my little sister's teachers. That should get interesting-- they're quite a group.

Meh, spent all evening updating my site instead of doing other, more important things. Really, all I needed to do was put up the award I received, but nooo... had to get carried away. I really need to learn some self-discipline.

Everybody keeps asking me to help them with random homework assignments. I think I've helped at least 5 people with the math portfolio problem (which I think I failed o_O) and now I'm editing people's pastiches for them. It's a nice feeling, real ego booster, but sometimes it'd be nice not to know the answers. I mean, it's like I'm letting people down if I can't assist them. Merumph.

I'm watching An American in Paris and they're singing "I've got rhythm" in French, but they're only translating bits of it. Oh, the joy of Franglais in Hollywood!

~sends out a plethora of virtual hugs and warm fuzzies to her distressed friends list~ All you guys are simply fabulous people, none of you deserve what you're getting. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts :\
