If it's not because of the water... We should find a solution that's okay with you, then! Swimming is a whole other part when going to the beach; you can't possibly miss out on that! [pooout.] Besides, it'll be lonely if you're on the shore by yourself.

I think I'll manage without swimming. We do have the watermelon after all and I can bring a book along with me to read. [Isn't she the biggest party pooper ever?]

I'm not much of an athlete but I suppose I could try volleyball. [So playing volleyball and sitting under an umbrella eating watermelon. Sounds like a plan to her. And speaking of food..]

If you want, I could teach you right now! I was on the volleyball team so I'm used to helping my juniors out when they needed it.

[...and on the note of those cupcakes:] I have a couple left of the batch that went well, if you like vanilla. Otherwise, I doubt you'd want the gummy or the cookie one. They ended up pretty bad!
