Much as Minato had wanted to roll over and go right back to sleep (glorious, wonderful sleep!) - especially after that dream; was it too much to ask to not be visited in the night by cryptic people? - he did have a promise to keep, and so with a groan, he moved to roll off the bed and onto his feet. Except that he missed, because they weren't where he had expected, and neither was he, and flailing, he landed on the floor in a scaly heap. It was only when he thudded his tail into the bedside table that he realized what was wrong: he was no longer human and was instead rather dragony.

Great. Just great.

As he attempted to pick up the small bag in which he'd been carrying money and the compact mirror and discovered just how very much he would have to get used to in terms of not running into walls and things, he had a sinking feeling he was going to be very late. That is, until he finally managed to stagger outside and realized that he could fly.

A short while later - perhaps longer than strictly necessary, because come on, he was ( ... )

Well of all the things he was expecting a lizard-thing falling from the heavens at his feet was not one of them. Shocked him enough to almost have the cigarette fall right out of his mouth. Though really, who was he to talk in this situation? He was a hundred years dead and suddenly blonde. Besides, he had seen something similar happening with Ugetsu... only on less scaly terms.

"Mornin'. I see this place has really done a number on you..." He smiles, "Still, glad to see you came."

Minato makes a rumble that might be a growl or might be some sort of purr or laugh. It's hard to tell, and it's very possible even he doesn't know. Along with having a different body, he has different urges and can feel, when he thinks about it, a new pressure for certain emotional responses - similar, in some ways, to the pressure he'd felt from personas when dealing with people he'd formed social links with, but stronger and just... different.

But in any event, he nods, twitching his tail as he watches others arrive and fighting with an urge to take off into the sky again and go fly among the rain clouds overhead. There's definitely something about the rain and the wind that tugs at him... (And... damn it, dragons don't have pockets. What is he supposed to do with his front paws?)

It so is! G you need to have deepre thoughts so I can TD'DR TOO! soulofaginger October 1 2011, 05:11:27 UTC
He looks at one of the new arrivals, the young girl with the black hair. Well, she didn't exactly seem very equipped for defending herself... and Minato here was essentially a walking threat.

"How would you be teaming up with the girl there? Not an enemy of yours or anything right?"

England was the second person to reach the meeting spot. He felt strange. His body, particularly his waist, seemed the smallest bit curvier. He wouldn't have noticed if Prussia had not said he felt different. And, of course, there was that new scar on his forehead. He didn't mention anything, because he didn't think anyone would notice his new form.

He held out his hand to shake G's when he found him. "Good morning," he said quietly. He was actually rather anxious, not only because he was changing, but also because he was going into the forest. The thought of that almost made him want to stamp his foot in excitement... Which also seemed weird.

G picked up on a few minor things about the change in appearance, but at in comparison to the lizard dropping at his feet from the sky, this was just a walk in the park.

"Mornin', good to see you made it." He shakes the offered hand, "Don't think I caught your name. I'm G."

"I'm England," replied the nation, wondering about the other man's name. Just Gee? Jii? Perhaps it was spelled oddly. Maybe he was from another world. But if he wasn't... "Though, if you prefer Arthur, you can call me that."

"England? You were named after the country?" A bit peculiar, but he's seen weirder, as sad as that is. Regardless a little small-talk was nice while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. "I'll call you whatever you want me to. I'm impartial."

You know he will not follow orders, hurr solitarynuvola September 29 2011, 11:18:10 UTC
Though he had not said that he was coming, the strange dream that he'd had had roused his curiosity; it was mere coincidence, then, that had brought him to the entrance of the forest, and close to the group of people that the First Storm Guardian had gathered. Not that he bothered to stand close to the group, nor did he call out a greeting to the redhead (or not so redhead now), oh no - crowding was for herbivores, and he most definitely was not a herbivore. Besides, he had no desire to interact with the members of the Vongola Family beyond communicating with the devices that they had all been provided with at the beginning of their stay ( ... )

Well of all the faces he didn't expect to see, he might not even have noticed him, or recognized him for that matter, if it weren't for the audible yawn and the familiar weapons. A little smirk spread across his face. Well it was time to give the tenth generation cloud guardian a little payback for the headache from the other day. G walked over to Hibari, leaving the crowd behind him for a moment.

"Oi. Didn't expect to see you hangin' around."

And at that G just casually leans on Hibari's shoulder. Personal space? He's Italian, what is personal space?

He was quite aware of the fact that yes, the other man was probably doing this on purpose; if G. was familiar with his herbivorous predecessor, he would know that Cloud users were not all that friendly when their personal space was invaded.

Needless to say, he had the sword out of the sheath and the naked blade resting against the other's throat as quickly as you could blink, close enough to shave the fine hairs off, but not enough to cut just yet. One wrong move from G., though, would send that blade into the Storm's neck.

"Get your herbivorous presence out of my sight."

Was he in a bad mood? Why, yes.

He takes a step back and raises his hands up, palms up. He was done playing around... sort of. He at least had the sense to be done hanging off Hibari like a shoulder monkey. He's still smirking though, that reaction was rewarding enough.

"Rough morning?"

He's not particularly worried about the sword at his neck, he's been in similar situations before. Besides, what's Hibari going to do? Kill him? Oh that would be ironic...

The men were soon joined by Jade who, despite being rather tall for her age, was clearly younger than the rest of them. She had sprinted there, afraid that she remembered the meeting place incorrectly, and was gasping for air by the time she reached them. Once she managed to catch her breath, she brushed the hair out of her face and smiled. All of her features were several shades lighter than before, though that would not be immediately evident to anybody here.

"Hey! So is this everyone?"

G waves in greeting and looks around at the small group. It was time to start splitting up the groups.

"Yeah, this is it..." And he looks over her over, chuckling at how out of breath she was "Have a seat and rest for a minute, we're in no rush."

"Thanks." Jade leaned against a tree, sighing. Though she hoped no one would notice, it had probably become apparent that she hadn't brought anything to defend herself with. Might as well explain.

"Um, I went down to the weapons shop, but they refused to give me anything. I guess because I'm replacing a princess and they are supposed to be the ones getting saved, not the ones fighting." That was so disappointing. Even if she was not especially strong, the girl could handle a firearm like the best of them. It made sense, of course - the thought of Sleeping Beauty running around with an Uzi was pretty silly - but it was frustrating nonetheless. Watching everyone suffer through the puppet incident was bad enough, and if there was anything at all she could do to prevent another event like that, she wanted to at least try.

She shot G a hopeful look. "Is it still alright for me to go? I promise I won't be too much trouble!"

"I'll be with you, so it'll be all right," pipes up Minato, having come over after G's assignment. Being a large dragon with teeth and claws and thick scales and the ability to fly (and affect a bit of the weather because that's just what Japanese and Chinese dragons are: weather gods of a sort -- not that he's actually realized this yet, but if a localized rainstorm pops up around him, you know who to blame), he theoretically should be able to protect her. And he means to.

"My name is Minato Arisato. What's yours?"

If they were going to be traveling together, really knowing names seems a good idea, yes? Minato would normally maybe give a slight smile, except that dragons can't really smile. Or if they do, it looks about as weird as dogs smiling, so instead he just sort of twitches his tail and two whisker things coming off of his snout.
