[Byakuran knows that voice. It's a voice engraved into his memory so deep and precise that he doubts he will ever forget it. Such as it goes, when it belongs to the girl who foiled his future and then gave him a new chance in his present.
He isn't hesitant about meeting her, exactly. It's only that he's unsure whether it's the Yuni whom he know's personally, or if it's the Yuni from the future. It's all rather neither here nor there when it comes down to the bare bones of it; Byakuran has nothing to hide, no crimes to atone for yet or the like.
But when he approaches her, it isn't with the usual familiarity he'd taken to using back home. He stands back, hands shoved into his pockets and a grin on his face.]
Yu~ni~. You came here too, hm~? My, my how terribly unfortunate that our game will be put on a standstill back home~!
[Open ended; it could mean any number of things to either Yuni.]

[Yuni didn't even have to see him to know who he was. She quickly spun around to face Byakuran. After what happened moments before her death, she couldn't trust him. Although he appeared different somehow. The first thing she noticed was that he was younger. This confused Yuni greatly, but then again, if this world gave her pixie wings perhaps it could make people younger as well.
She didn't want to jump to conclusions with this game that he had mentioned, and she tried to remain calm.]
My, my I see. That's really disappointing~. It doesn't matter, Yuni.

honestly isn't sure what to make of this. It's- awkward, to say the least, to have her in the dark, but not entirely awful. He sighs, bounces back on his feet a little and glances away from her.]
You and I were going to play a game, in the timeline I'm from~. I can't tell you spoilers, Yu~ni~, that's cheating~. It doesn't matter though, we can't play here anyway~.
