[The video feed comes on with a bit of fumbling as Domon tries to figure out how to get the compact to work. After a few seconds he realizes it’s on, and moves the screen to center on his face. He was wearing clothes that seemed to be made of wolf skin, and his trademark headband was missing. And to say he looked less than pleased would be a

I know what a Gundam is - it is a giant mecha, non? - mais, a Gundam Fight... I have never heard of this before.
[Now, to explain the important part.] We've been brought here mysteriously. I'm not sure how, and neither is anyone else. We've all simply woken up in our rooms wearing different clothes. The people that brought us here, who rather boastfully call themselves the "Rulers", are the Emperor and the Empress. People, demigods, demons, malfunctioning machines, I'm not sure what they are. No one has been able to go near the castle to look. [Should he mention that strange glowing woman from the dream? No, he probably shouldn't yet.]
The Rulers are attempting to transform us into the roles they have assigned for us, our "denizens" as it were. They treat us as nothing but playthings. I take it you are supposed to be some sort of wolf-man? [That's all France can tell, from the clothes.]

And I take it no one knows how to get back home? [He doesn't wait for an answer, he already knows it. These people wouldn't have stuck around if they could get home. So he turns, and punches the wall in frustration. Fortunately it seems to be made of solid rock, like the wall of a cave, so it isn't damaged by the blow.] I am no one's toy!
[After a moment a moment he calms down and turns back to the compact.] The note said I was replacing werewolf, whatever that means.

Not yet, however, we are trying to find a way together. It would be best if all of us worked together in this way. [He winces away, even though he knows that fist isn't directed at him.] Please, calm down! You will not solve anything like this.
[A little sigh.] Mm, I was afraid of that. It means the Rulers are trying to turn you into a werewolf. My friend, Espagne... before he disappeared, he was "the Selkie", and my friend Prussie is "the Phoenix"... it seems quite common.

Tell me how I can help. There's someone I need to get back to.
But none of those things are real! How can they turn us into something that doesn't exist? [Well, he's never heard of a Selkie so he's not sure about that one, but phoenixes and werewolves are definitely fictional.]

We all have someone or something we need to get back to. Right now, we are simply collecting information about the island itself, as far as I know. The forest to the north is the only place I've really been able to explore other than town, mais, the animals there are... rather vicious.
That... we are also not sure on. The Rules have powers to do this... though none of us have seen their faces and none of us have been able to get near the castle... or rather, two did, but then the Rulers decided to change them into puppets for a week. [Another long sigh.] I know this all sounds crazy, and I didn't want to believe it myself... however the Rulers are ruthless and they will try to turn us into our denizens. I've been under that sort of transformation myself.

And I don't have time for that! I need to get back right now! [He's clearly more distraught than angry, but it still takes another moment for him to calm down again.]
"Transformation?" What exactly is it they try to do?
Reply
None of us have time for that. But whatever you were in the middle of, it is paused. A friend of mine, he... he is from far in our pasts. I would have known back then if he had disappeared. [And England, too. But he wasn't sure what to call England, now. Not a friend, certainly.] And Alfred, he did not notice me missing when I came here.
They try to turn us into something we are not, it is that simple. Mais... the last time, there was a way to beat them. I am not sure the Rulers know how we stopped them.

So she won't even realized I'm gone? [He seems to be both slightly disturbed by the idea, but also slightly hopeful that it's true.]
And how do they try to do that?
Reply
She? Are you... missing someone?
I am not sure how they do it, mais, one day I woke up and I had short hair. And it kept growing shorter before my very eyes.

Yeah. We were together, and then the next thing I knew, I was here. [He turns back to the wall, raising his hand as if to strike again. But instead his arm falls back to his side. There was no point to uselessly beating up a wall. So instead he simply turns back around and leans against the wall. Now that his anger was spent for the moment, he looked incredibly lost and alone.]
But that...that's just not possible. No one can just make people's bodies change like that!

Oui, that is how it is with all of us. We fall asleep and the next thing we know, poof, we are here. [Francis tenses up as Domon goes to punch the wall, but lets out a little sigh when he stops himself.] We are still looking for a way out of this, monsieur, do not worry. When we find a way, we will get you back to your home, and your friend. [He is sensing a "more than friend" relationship here, though.] And you should be right where you left off, all things considered. As I said, I have friends here who are from my past... I would have noticed if they had gone missing.
It is not possible, mais, it has happened here. I have seen it with my own eyes. This place seems to be ruled by magic, not by science like your world or mine. After all, one can summon up any food or drink they desire simply by thinking about it hard enough.

[He doesn't say anything else on how he got here or what might or might not be happening in his world while he's gone. He can't. After everything that's happened, and then waking up here... He just can't handle talking anymore about Rain right now.]
Magic? You honestly expect me to believe that!? That's the stupidest thing I've ever-! [He stops abruptly, staring in shock at something that seems to be just to the left of the compact. Walking forward, he picks the object up and brings it into view. It turns out to be a simple bowl of rice, and it's pretty obvious from Domon's blank stare that it wasn't there a few moments before.]

Oui, I do expect you to. I know it sounds crazy - I didn't believe it myself - mais, it is... [He sees Domon's hesitation and watches him carefully as a bowl of rice comes into view. Ah, Domon must have been starving. Slowly, he speaks up again.] Go on, eat it.

...How do I know I can trust this?

You should be able to trust your own imagination, non? You imagined it. You could even imagine delicacies, if you liked, and they would appear. Food and drink have practically no limit, from what I have discovered.
