Some things I'd like to share.

My brother found this article in Democratic Undeground, this is something I have experienced firsthand many times in grade school, and it's something that must be brought attention to, and is unfortunately undermined by many stereotypes about children and the belief that bullying can be solved by school administration intervention:

Why is it if someone is assaulted, even verbally, by someone on the street, you can call the cops and have a cop intervened;but in a school campus they don't care and even punish someone who even tries to defend themself.  The bully often gets away with just "slap on the wrist" and they continue their assault; if there is any school administrator intervention.

Things not to say to a deppressed person:

Oh god, where do I even start.  This list brings back horrible memories when I was assaulted by some asshole who spouted these things like a generator just because I can feel emotions other than happiness.  It's no suprise I often saw Libertarians regurgitate similar mantras in regards to things like mental illness and social and psychological obstructions in debates too.
I understand sometimes people do say it with good intention, however there may be a subconscious veil under those words with a desitre to control someone else's feelings for one's selfish sake and/or callous ignorance about what the other person is going through.  Also, it pretty much says to the depressed person, "you are an idiot for even feeling the way you do."

The woes of medical students and doctors:

There are plenty of famous quotes about relishing and even re-doing your mistakes.  I'm sure they haven't had a life or many lives on the line of their mistakes like doctors do.

Especially if you are talking about the MSPA fandom/fora, you are my hero.

You've condensed into a small paragraph what takes me a whole circular debate to even get through most people who are stubbornly offended by a challenge to the whole "we are the nicest place on the internet" mantra and stubbornly label those who don't agree or have been attacked as "weak", "thin-skinned", "passive agressive", and "spineless".

As if that would help your image as the "nicest fandom ever!".

deppression, judgemental bullshit. bullies, libertarians, socio-political, judgemental people, understanding
