Weekends don't get much better than this...
Awesome weekend! Ms Tanya hexena flew in from Maryland. It was so wonderful to have her here and once again so hard to see her leave. How the hell can 48 hours feel like 2 when it's all over? Ugh... putting Tanya back on a plane SUCKS! I hope MKE gets her back soon! It sucks to know I probably won't see her again until July.
Friday was great! Only in Wisconsin do you fire up the grill and cook tenderloin steak during a snowstorm. It was fun. Nice dinner and great conversation. Annemarie and Jeremiah made it when I thought the roads would keep them from coming for awhile there. Thankfully, they didn't have to drive home.
Saturday was equally as awesome but quite a bit more on the crazy side. 11 of us went to dinner on Saturday then several went back to Kimmie & Joolz' place and several back to my place to get ready to meet back up again at Club ?. It was great to see several MKE people out that I hadn't seen out in probably 3 years. It was also wonderful that some Chicago friends were able to make it up for the evening.
Kimmie spun a lot great stuff as usual. Between there being so many friends there to talk to and the fact that "my beautiful distraction" showed up later on, I didn't dance nearly as much as I thought I would. I was too busy yappin' with people but there were a few times I just had to say, "I GOTTA dance" and proceeded to run away. ;)
*sigh* Another weekend after which my house is lonely for good friends and laughter. I enjoy living alone but after absolutely every time I have friends over for a party or when they stay the whole weekend, I go thru some major bummed-outedness for a couple days.
