Name: Minako Arisato

Personality:
Though essentially being two sides of the same coin, Minako and Minato are completely different people in terms of personality. Minako is open and optimistic, spunky and energetic. She's also quite upfront and honest, she won't let her friends down and she's not one to stand by quietly while a friend is being put down - as shown in many of her S. Links. She's also very protective of the close friends she's made within SEES and will step in to protect them if necessary. Minako has the ability to draw people towards her; though she's outspoken she's also a very good listener and will let someone speak their mind before she puts her thoughts to play. Most of her S. Links come easier because of this and she's very easy to get along with due to her outgoing and friendly nature.
It is important to note that when she first started building S. Links outside of the SEES group, she did so for selfish reasons; S.Links increase the power of Persona Fusions. While some of the S. Links were formed naturally she did have to consciously pursue some at first, an example being her befriending an old drunkard monk in order to strengthen the Tower Social link. Though she built them for selfish reasons she came to appreciate her S. Links and the friends she made (even if they were old and skeevy!) and learnt a lot from going through them. Because of the bonds she's made and the love she has for the world she is able to make the ultimate sacrifice for them.
Minako is also good at reading people - she can tell how they're feeling and is empathetic to what they're saying. This often helps her to respond in the best way possible, though sometimes she will not say what she wants to but rather what she knows the other person wants to hear. Her strong empathy with people can sometimes hurt her. If someone is angry with her she will feel it hard and she doesn't like it. She prefers to keep people happy even if it means she can't get her true feelings out and due to this she can have a tendancy to make promises she cannot possibly keep, such as booking a day out with multiple people at once in an effort not to let anyone down. She is somewhat adaptable in terms of her personality when it comes to her interaction with different people. With Junpei she will act like a bit of a tomboy; with Fuuka she will be a bit more reserved and helpful and with Akihiko she will talk about training and trains with him.
Minako manages to stay incredibly calm in difficult situations. When she first arrived on Tatsumi Port Island it was The Dark Hour - the streets were filled with coffins and the atmosphere was nothing short of disturbing. Though she was slightly shaken she moved swiftly to her dorm. She also never freaked out when she saw Yukari pointing a gun at her head and was one of the most confident of the SEES members to use the evoker for the first time and summon her Persona (though she did hesitate, as anyone would).
Her adaptability to various situations also makes her a strong leader. In Tarturus she can modify her strategy to defeat the shadows efficiently and instruct all her team-mates. She also has the rare ability to summon a variety of different Personae due to her Wild Card ability; this is not without its cost, however, as it takes its toll on her and she can only carry a few at a time.
She can also be a little bit naive and a bit of a ditz at times. She doesn't realize she's become a popular girl at school amongst the boys, so when Junpei tells her about some perverted photos of her circulating through the school she's quite surprised. She can also be overly trusting at times which is shown in the Devil S. Link when she hands over money for a promise of turning it into a fortune.
One of the most unexpected things about Minako is her huge appetite; she can eat an extra large beef bowl and although she is fit to burst by the end of the meal she still manages to pack it away and remain slim. She loves food, loves cooking and is always willing to try new things - as long as it's tasty!
To summarize - Minako is a fairly normal teenage girl. She loves things most teenage girls love. To most people her rare ability or the secret of the school club, SEES, would never be known because of how normal she is.

The differences between Minako and Minato's story are:
Minako can have Social Links (S.Links) with every single SEES member.
She joins the Tennis or Volleyball club instead of the Track/Swimming/Kendo options given for Minato. I'll have picked her doing Tennis though it doesn't change anything in what S. Link she gets.
When she maxes Shinjiro's S.Link it changes his fate. Instead of dying he ends up in a coma.
Some or the Arcana's for characters have changed. Akihiko is of the Star Arcana instead. These are not major changes though.
Canon Abilities (100%): Minako can pack away food like no one's business and still stay slim! That has to be an amazing ability.
But seriously, her most notable ability is that of the Wild Card. It allows her to control multiple Personae at any given time and she can shift through them with ease. Also the ability of controlling a Persona allows her to attack the Shadows with greater ease, preventing them from harming others and feeding on their minds
She also has bonds called Social Links. As she builds up the relationships with people the rank grows and so too does the Arcana. This then allows her to fuse stronger Personae of that Arcana.
When not using a Persona Minako can use a Naginata weapon quite well.
With her Power she can carry 12 Personae at a time.
Canon Abilities (25%): Well with Minako's Social Links she needs to Velvet Room anyway, so that power - although she can still create bonds - is pretty much useless.
As for her Personae I will be limiting her to 3. She will not be able to switch her Personae as easily as before and she will find that they drain her. Also their abilities will be reduced in effectiveness by 75%.

This is the strangest-- Well one of the strangest things I've ever seen! I never thought I would see a megaphone sprout out of vine like this!
I wonder if... [she speaks softly to the vine, asking for some way to show herself to those who are listening]
[and then there's a bright smile of a young girl]
Oh! I guess everyone can see me now right? That's pretty amazing!
Ah! I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Minako Arisato. [she lifts up her hand in a polite greeting]. I am a bit confused though... [she rubs the back of her head sheepishly] How did we get here? I remember going to sleep and having a pretty weird dream-- Though I guess it wasn't a dream after all, seeing as how I'm here. I was worried though, considering what's been going on back home.
Maybe someone out there knows something more? I'd really appreciate the help.
Prose:
This felt longest day of her life. Ryoji had told her everything, giving her till this day, December 31st, to decide.
If she was being honest with herself, she had already decided; she could have told Ryoji then and there her decision. But the time would help her friends to decide what they wanted most, and she knew that they needed time to think; it wasn't just her decision after all.
So with the month she had she listened to each and every one of them, hearing out their thoughts on what they wanted to do. They all made the same choice; the same one Minako had made. It only helped to solidify her decision, but she still felt a knot in her stomach as she took a deep breath and opened the door to the Iwatodai Dorms.
The bond she had made with Ryoji over the past months weighed heavy on her as she gave him a smile, and nodded when he asked her if she had decided. As Ryoji went to her room to discuss her choice, the others let her know where they stood one last time before she followed him.
Ryoji tried to convince her that killing him would be for the best, that he doesn't want them to suffer when Nyx arrives and the world ends. But Minako stood firmly on her decision, even when he showed his true form to her. Although the decision mostly came from to her determination to fight - to save the world she loves and to protect the friends she has made - a strong part of it was not wanting to kill someone she had become so close to.
It was that moment that Minako felt the Social Link between them grow for the last time, tightening the bond between them - a bond that could not be broken. Ryoji gave her a bittersweet smile as he gave her his gold ring to remember him by and left her room. She rubbed it slowly between her thumb and forefinger, knowing that the next time she'd see Ryoji, she'd have to fight him.
After taking a deep breath and rubbing her eyes, she placed the ring on her finger and made her way downstairs.
