A good day for ducks.
This is a rug, and it's made out of felt. Now I want a felt rug. Really badly. My first thought was to try and figure out how I could get some crazy thick felt and stain it myself, because working with felt is pretty much the only craftsy talent I was born with..... and then I saw the video of some old Iranian guy beating the fucking felt with fire and gave up that dream. Technically I guess this makes these Persian rugs. The material is rubbery and one inch thick at least. Where do you even get that stuff? These people are felt crazy...they sell felt purses, and stuffed bunnies. Where have I been? Few things make me happier then seeing people in San Francisco actually doing something smart and creative anyway. If it wasn't for their unfortunate name,Peace Industry. I probably would have found these sooner since I've passed the place a billion times, in Hayes Valley. Okay. I want felt. In a rug. Please. Or money. To buy one. Either one. Thanks. Also, if you ever plan to roll me up in a carpet for a Patty Hearst style kidnapping, my one request is that you pick these as the carpet to do it in, as they're aesthetically pleasing, and very soft. Thank you. Oh wait, one more request, please don't pick one of the ugly cubist abstract prints.
