I missed the captain's meeting. I had a fight with a loved one and couldn't bring myself to associate with yuppy old ladies. Anyway, we had cake and ice cream for my mom's birthday tonight. I got her a DS lite. She loves me.
I went to the stomach doctor yesterday. Turns out I'm a mess and need a couple of very invasive (in my opinion) tests to rule out anything serious, such as Crone's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Yummy, right? Anyway, the first test is on 10/24 and the second and more horrible of the two is on Halloween. Trick or treat, smell my ASS.
Also went to the chiropractor twice this week. Apparently my atlas is out. I laughed, too. I thought the atlas was a book with maps. It is also the first vertebrae in your spine that connects the bottom of the skull with the spine. Mine was retarded and causing these incredible headaches. I thought my head was going to pop and I couldn't turn my neck. Don't sleep on your stomach, people. Supposedly that is the cause of my dillemma. It's working its way back to normal now, though. I've had two really great appointments this week where he cracked the living hell out of my neck. More than I thought possible. That is still so unnerving to me. I know its good, but damn...it's weird.
I have a three-day weekend this weekend. Saturday, Sunday and Monday I am off. Hooray for that. No plans, really. I'm going to go see Erin tomorrow hopefully. She had her baby. He is perfect. Literally. She's been through a lot lately and I've been praying for her health to improve for months now. She is having awful gallbladder problems. Hopefully she gets it checked out and then ripped out very soon. I hope it works for her. I pray for it.
I used Tom's all natural deodorant last night after my shower...Lemongrass scent. Felt nice going on, but in about 3 minutes my pits were flaming red and itching/burning like crazy. don't use that stuff. Use adidas aluminum-free. It's the greatest. Prevent breast cancer! No more secrets!
My parents are going camping this weekend. I'm praying they don't have lousy weather, but at the same time I'm praying for it here. We haven't had substantial rain in a long, long time. Hurricane Ernesto is barrelling this way, so it's very possible we'll have rain soon. There's a lot of wind right now. I turned off the a/c on my lunch break and it feels so nice in here.
Well, it's late and I still have to dry/straighten my hair (I have a straightener you use on wet hair...amazing!) and then I'm going to sleep. Stupid Friday. I hope it goes fast. I hate work. Here's to a lovely weekend with fun for all.
