I have grave news to report. Earlier this evening, Agent Dynamo was found, deactivated, with a metal saw blade thrown into the base of his skull ( Read more... )

Huh.

...

You know, I hate to say I told you so, but...

Well.

Yeah.

That's enough, Agent Zero, or I will recommend to your superiors that you be reprimanded.

Go right ahead.

Bringing Dynamo into DATS was stupid in the first place.

May I remind you of your own history, Zero? Or your unit commander's?

Or mine?

I was influenced by other means. I've worked to make up for that for years.

Touma, you? Difference cases, as well, and quite a long time ago for you, wasn't it?

Dynamo's biggest disappointment with his involvement in something that took countless innocent lives is that he wasn't paid enough.

That's not comparable to any of the people you've just mentioned, and I sure as hell don't see him busting his ass to make up for it or make people view him as otherwise like we have.

That's also not your place to judge. Touma's actions could have resulted in destruction on that scale, as well as mine. And nevertheless, influenced or not, there's the risk of history repeating itself under such conditions.

While it may appear self aggrandizing, I would like to note that I don't agree with Captain Fate. Especially considering Zero's suspicions have added validity.

Sally's opinion is also important, though, so I will defer to the majority consensus.

I agree. It is troubling, but Zero, you are also out of line. We should observe Dynamo very strictly, but Zero? In the future, avoid making these kinds of statements. We're in a crisis situation and that only makes things more troubling.

Hmph.

Wouldn't have BEEN a problem in the first place if we hadn't LET him in.

Yeah. Okay. I get it.

So I should believe there's just as much chance of you doing a heel face turn and stabbing Commander Takamachi in the back?

I somehow doubt that.

So don't pull that crap out on me. I destroyed that monster inside me. And I've fought DAMN HARD to make up for all the horrors I've committed in both my world and this one.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that a benefit of a doubt could be considered...! People do change, even after atrocities... and that while suspicion can be warranted, that doesn't mean you condemn them right off.

...

But. It's poor conduct to argue here.

Dynamo is LONG past where you should be considering "benefit of the doubt." I am fully well aware of the fact that people CAN change... but the point is he HASN'T.

Look for yourself, in the thread replying to Brainiac 5. He SAYS HIMSELF he's only working for us because our enemies can't PAY HIM ENOUGH.

Would you tell all that to the surviving families of anyone who died because of what he did, while he laughs in the face of it?

While with you and me, I know damn well either of us would give our lives if it meant protecting others, or righting our past wrongs.

And it might be poor conduct, but you're still making the arguments.

... I'm putting an end to this discussion.

Do whatever you want, Captain.

It's only a matter of time before everything comes out, now, anyway.

Zero... I know you don't like him, but don't you think it might be possible that he could have been the victim of one of these tamer-hunters?

It's a possibility, yes.

But it's also a good possibility that Metal Man thought Dynamo might squeal, and took him out.

I can't think of any reason for the Bounty Hunters to tamper with a D-Comm, either. They may have STOLE one, but... no, something's fishy.
