My children are now dubbed "destroyer of worlds". To date, the things recently broken in my house consists of: Dining table top & 3 dining chairs, spongebob table, couch, deck, macbook, fridge, blinds, carpets. I have no idea how my mom kept things like her living room set intact for 25+ years. "They just don't make them like they used to?"

Free stuff weekend! Looking fwd to some new junk in our house. We'll be putting some stuff on our lawn too this evening, just a matter of running through and grabbing things that haven't been used in the last year and throw it to the curb. Last year was a great success in junk removal. The new junk vs old junk ratio was about 1:15

I've got 9 days of holidays coming up, starting May long. It's going to be a "work" holiday mostly I think. Last night, I decided to dig down in our basement and find the source of the mouse infection. 2 more small basement walls will definitely need to be replaced. One of the walls, with the insulation taken out, you can see the air conditioning unit that's a couple feet away (outside). That's not so great. TONS of painting to do (the outside of the 3rd floor, the dining room, kitchen, mud room and Malachi's room. Planting of seedlings May long weekend and removal of demolition debris.

It's a gorgeous sunny day outside, but an overcast feeling here at work. It shouldn't be queued up, on a Saturday, with gorgeous weather after like, 9 days of overcast coolness. We're watching the Brandon news too. I tell you, if a "flood forecaster" position opens up sometime, I'm totally applying for the position. March, I was saying "this flood, it's going to be bad!" and the flood forecasters were saying "no, no, things are looking pretty good for this year. It won't be as bad as '97, maybe looking alot like '09. LoL, now they're saying they haven't seen flooding in Manitoba this bad since... 1919? Crazyness!!
