Yea, my tv fountain bubbleth over.
SGAquarium (or as
imdb says "Stargåte: Atlåntis" HA HA HA):
- 4.03 "Reunion", squee-meter: ♥ ♥ - Honestly I was bored by this ep. I like Ronon better as jssangel and helenish have imagined him - canon Ronon can never live up to their version. The tattoo was cute, though, and "where are your friends?" "Right here" exchange, while 200% predictable, tugged at my stupid heartstrings nonetheless.
- 4.04 "Doppelganger", squee-meter: ♥ ♥ - Had a lot of potential, but in true SGA fashion, mostly wasted it. I love how Flans' idea of Evil!Shep was glaring more and wearing a slightly different yet still normal-looking - but black! - outfit. It was comical how similar they were, I mean come on, after Teh Hew did such a great job with McKay & Mrs. Miller. Heightmeyer has always baffled me in that every time I've ever seen her I think she's a different person, like sometimes she's blonde, other times she's a redhead - she could be played by a totally different actress and I would not be any less confused. I've liked some of her incarnations - the blonde ones where she reminds me of Melfi to Rodney/John's Tony, for example - but overall she was sort of a wash. Not really so sad when she kicked it.
- 4.05 "Travelers", squee-meter: - ♥ - This ep was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring! I hated Traveler Girl and her overly predictable storyline. She reminded me of a cross between Mischa Barton and SMG, she had Smidge's little peen-shaped nose. Plus entire episode suffered from a criminal lack of McShepping.
Smallville:
- 7.03 "Fierce", squee-meter:? ? - Wait, what was this one about again?
- 7.04 "Cure", squee-meter: ♥ ♥ - I hated Chloe in this ep. Where has she been for the past 6 years? Who is this stranger they replaced the old smart Chloe with? I'm getting a dreadful feeling that my leap to conclusions about the finale were a premonition - that Chloe's "power" (which? Worst. Power. Ever [/Comic Book Guy]) was really an excuse for Miles & Al to try an elaborate body-switch whereby Lois gets all of Chloe's personality. Looks like Lois's got Chloe's ambition and smarts now. Lana was good though - I love her turn towards ebil.
- 7.05 "Action", squee-meter: ♥ ♥ - This ep was laughably bad - with the godawful Christina Milian (who reminded me of a young Janet Jackson, except without the baby voice) - but the few bright spots appeared in the form of Lana being awesome, Lex being nostalgic and gay, TW being unbelievably hot and Lionel coming back with a bang. The A-plot sucked though, hence the rating. *adds a star for Lana, she was that awesome*
