About Rodney's pot reaction issues, that isn't really new backstory either, although it was elaborated here. In The Lost Boys, Rodney gets mad about being enzymed, citing the fact that he reacts to drugs funkily including that time he tried pot in college and it all ended very badly.
True dat. So they lose half a point for unoriginality on that one. For some reason that doesn't bother me as much as it probably should. Maybe I'm still on a Rodney love high from M&MM.
It doesn't bother me at all! That's his one drug story, and I'm sure he's gotten a lot of complaint mileage out of it over the years.
He'd *like* to have the chance to wallow in the more harmless drugs as he does food and sex (hello canonical internet porn!), but annoyingly it wasn't in the cards.
