Yes. And yes. Well actually, no to the second one but we did in fact hang out that night. We were supposed to go to a bar called the Christon Cafe, a bar in Shinjuku that is a replica of a Catholic church, but the earthquake caused the trains to stop running so Miyuki, Rui, and Eiko walked 40 minutes (!) to meet us. We were then met by Kazuya so I can confirm the safety of these four. As for Yoshi, Emi, and Mari, it`s anybody`s guess. Speaking of Shinjuku, that happens to be where I am right now. Mark and I came down here in hopes of finding the Christon Cafe but it was closed as was, apparently, every decent bar in this area. The few that were open had no patrons due to rain caused by a typhoon. After walking around Kabukicho, Shinjuku`s red light district for about 2 1/2 hours in the pouring rain, we decided to just kill the rest of the time until the trains started running again at 5 am at an internet cafe, hence my post. On a side note, Mark and I got propositioned for sex at least a dozen times tonight by middle-aged Japanese men. Do with that what you will.
