Ewan is not that old for me. :P
he's 36 right now to my knowledge, which is 17 years my senior. lol. that's quite an age-gap.. and he could theoretically be my father.
the other old(er) guy on my list is billy, he's 2 years younger than my mom. who's my daddy? who's my daddy??

oh i KNOW! people always assume that when you're in a former soviet country all you do is speak russian. ok, yes, we have a lot of russians here and you can hear it evey day, but that's just a small percentage of the whole country. but i guess it's all just russian to all of them across the pond. heh.
and i guess it doesn't matter to the americans, because most of them don't know what it's like here anyway, but i hate it how they assume everything is the same here. and how they ridicule the smaller countries. like estonia has been mentioned in some american tv-shows etc, like 'felicity' where this guy got sick after eating estonian chocolate. but if they really knew what the chocolate made here is one of the best ever (though i'm not a fan of chocolate in general) they wouldn't make a joke like that. and we were mentioned on alias once as well (man, they do get all over the place, right?) but i can't really remember what it was about. oh and there was a movie- 'the encino caveman' or something and they said that the cave-man was from estonia. ok, thanks, like we're all in the stone-age here..

Americans probably think all Slavs speak Russian. I'm serious. I don't even understand other Slavic languages. Really. Polish, Czech, Russian... very hard to understand for me. We here are Southern Slavs, and we speak Serbian/Croatian. (That's actually the same language. Difference between Serbian and Croatian is like 10 smaller than American and British English. It's just that people here are fascists. *cough* So Serbs call it Serbian and Croats Croatian. *rolls eyes*) But it seems like they're not aware of it at all over the pond. We're all Russians for them. LOL

One of my friends from college was in contact with some American online and he asked him how do we look here in Bosnia. I mean, for all he knows, we could be an African tribe, you know. Thank God I didn't meet any of those trolls online. I must be in a very good (and intelligent) company.
