Sadly, Elizabethtown was as bad as the critics made it sound. :( I should have listened to the 29% rating on rottentomatoes.com.... C'est la vie. It wasn't all terrible, but it felt kind of confused, didn't have that something that makes a movie feel magical, didn't become all it wanted to be.

Next up in the queue: Junebug.

Why don't I really feel like seeing any (or many) of the Oscar-nominated films? Some of them are still out in theaters, but I'm so not motivated to go see them...Except for Walk the Line and maybe Good Night and Good Luck... And Howl's Moving Castle.

I'm hoping Jon Stewart is still funny hosting the Oscars--don't the Oscars usually suck the funny right out of people? Or am I confusing that with a different awards show?
