It's interesting to get a viewpoint from one of the jury participants.
Lawyers are people, too. They come in all flavors. My brother is a lawyer. As a matter of fact he occasionally does criminal defense work as a public defender. He's talked to me over the years about some of the good, bad, incompetent, and just plain slimy lawyers that he's worked with or against. It's always fascinated me to realize just how much we stereotype and depersonalize people who work in certain fields just because we don't see them as real people.

I've never been chosen for a jury in the two times I've been called for JD
But then I'm a rather good actor and probably gave off the correct vibe to avoid it ;~)
But it's interesting hearing that story from the inside :~)
