Christmas!
Man, I do love Christmas! But it seems a lot of people don't. Every year I hear news reports about "Holiday Blues." I'd like to take a moment to discuss it.
First of all, if Christmas is stressing you out, or you get the "Holiday Blues," you're doing it wrong. Christmas is about being happy, it's about having fun and baking cookies. If the Christmas season is stressing you out, then make some changes! You need to do what's best for YOU. If going over to your relatives' house or cleaning your house is making the season unbearable, then just...stop. I know, for some people it isn't that easy. But there are excuses you can make. Just...do what you need to do to enjoy the season. Remember when you were little. You looked forward to it. GET THAT BACK. Take your happiness back, make it your own again, maybe create your own traditions!
Another thing I hear around Christmas is that it's too commercialized. Yes, Christmas is commercialized. But, and maybe it's just the business major in me talking, but it's good for the economy. I mean, that's one meaning of Black Friday, pushing the numbers from the red to the black. It really helps the economy, most businesses make their profits in the Christmas shopping season. And GOD KNOWS the economy could use the help right now. So stop being a jackass and get out there and pay cash for some stuff! :D Maybe buy local and help your local economy! Even if you make your own presents for everyone, you still need to buy supplies, so HA. :P

This year I've been busy!
Last Sunday I gave serena_skye a Dutch Oven (-10 points). In May I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). In June I donated bone marrow to defade in a life-saving procedure (300 points). In July I gave lasiledesfous a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points). Last Wednesday I set tello_tello's puppy on fire (-66 points).
Overall, I've been nice (211 points). For Christmas I deserve a Nintendo Wii!
