Back in San Diego
I finally made it back to San Diego after quite a delay in Chicago. Thunderstorms caused almost every flight out of Ohare to be canceled or delayed, so I got to spend an extra 5 hours bumming around the airport hoping to get on a flight back home. I eventually got one, and arrived back in San Diego this morning about about 4am. Such fun.
The trip was amazing. I spent Thursday and Friday hanging around Springfield looking at touristy Abe Lincoln things. I saw lincoln's tomb, house, and law office, the old state capital building, and all sorts of other random things. Loads of fun. Friday evening I finally made it into Chicago. That city is so much fun.
Saturday morning I had the law day at DePaul took a tour of the campus, sat in on a mock class, and toured the dorms I'll be living in. Everything looked great, and I'm really excited to go. After the law day was over I met up with
groovekid and he showed me around the city. In the evening we went out clubbing, and damn, Chicago knows how to party! I'm going to have far to much fun living there.
Sunday I bummed around and went to the Art Institute and Millenium Park, then hung around Ohare for hours and hours.
Now I'm back in San Diego, I get to start School again tomorrow. Yay!
