I received a phone call from my boss on Thursday morning (actually woke me up as it was 8am Perth time!).
The reason he was calling is that
MY REDUNDANCY IS OFFICIAL
Although he is still saying June 14 or up to 30th June if we haven't finished handing over.
I actually had mixed emotions when he told me, but I wasn't sad, just the realisation that it's actually going to happen shook me a bit. So, by the end of June 2006, I'll be out of work. I think I've been incredibly lucky as I've never really been out of work for long and have only really held 3 long term positions, all of which I left on my terms.
The next phase of my life is on the horizon.
