The only thing I can figure is it's another one of those geek hierarchy thing. You know the "We may be nerds, but we're not like those people" thing I just want to take their smug superiority and shove it up their... well you get my point. And really if Supes is going to have a kid with Lex in canon then it's only fair the s/b shippers get their own baby too.

God, I hate the whole geek hierarchy thing. We're all in this together. Why maliciously mock people with whom you share so much common ground?

This is absolutely true. Viki Lois Wayne-Kent can be their Kon.

What was it about sofa cushions that led stains to be more...stainy? In the Kent household overturned cushions meant scorch marks and more recently, wear and tear from Bart Allen’s inability to sit still through the length of a commercial break. The Allen’s must’ve gone through furniture like crazy, Conner thought to himself ( ... )

You're a hero, Dan. This was super sweet. I loved the metaphors. <3333

Kon plays with Viki Lois Kent-Wayne Age: 4 and a half

The only warning Kon got was the sound of pattering feet. He turned just in time to catch the tiny form that leaped into his arms.

They both laughed as Kon caught her up and pulled her close.

"Up! Up!" she cried happily, her eyes alight with glee and excitement.

"Always, VL," Kon grinned and kicked them off into the sky holding her tight and flying fast.
