I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on my flist.
This is my favorite holiday of the year. In fact, it is the only holiday I actually even like. To have an entire day devoted to standing around the kitchen, drinking beer and teasing the sibs is nothing short of amazing.
My Thanksgiving has just sort of wound down. I'm sitting down with my mug of tea and my cook book trying to decide what to bake tomorrow. Because, after two days of nothing but cooking and baking OF COURSE I want to bake MORE. Sometimes relaxing hobbies are counter intuitive. I've decided on Pumpkin Pecan cookies with a Brown Sugar frosting by the way. <3
I digress, what I really wanted to say was how much I appreciate you all. You support me no matter what crazy notions I come up with. A lot of us have become very good friends and a few of you have helped me through some tough times.
So thank you to each of you who have encouraged me to write. Thank you to each of you who have spent hours talking and laughing with me. Thank you to each of you who have made me smile when I needed it most. Thank to all of you who have been patient with me when I needed time to myself for a while. Thank you to each of you who have been there for me when I cried or just needed a friend to talk to.
Most of all, I would like to thank those of you who had supportive words and reassurances for both me and my brother John Michael. It means so very much to me.
