By traditional calendar reckoning, it's about time for The Big Shire Birthday Party. Yay!!!!
Except...my invitation must have gotten lost in the mail since I haven't gotten one.

Considering the past situation, my presence might not be welcome at the party. Maybe the slight was deliberate?? I mean, come on! These are party animals of the first water! Naturally there will be a party!
But...there was no mention of a party in the "Sock Puppet News".
Of course, we don't even get the "Sock Puppet News" here in Gondor these days.
I feel out of it.
