Dear Diary,
I've been here at the Houses for so long and not made much progress.
Oh, I suppose my mind is calmer now and I remember much of my former life. It's the recent past that still eludes me. Why would that be? Was it all that horrible?
Ah, well. I'll do what I'm told for a while longer and see what happens.
