My Christmas/Birthday List (continuously updated)
Hey there everyone! This list has turned into a meme - a LJ friend posted this up and I decided to modify mine to change it to fit the meme. There are rules that family members visiting for ideas can ignore of course, but for everyone ELSE.... I wants this stuff!!!
Step One:
* Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
* If you wish for real life things (not stories or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two:
Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
* If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use-or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free-do it.
* You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf-to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not-it's your call.
* There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

KODAK Digital Camera
We have an M-743 for David and myself, but I would like one of my own - so if I go take a trip without him I can leave OUR camera at home in case he needs it. It is part of the M-Series of Kodak digital cameras, which are both compact and work very well (my cousin and aunt both have one). My DESIRED camera? The M-883. What would I take? ANY OF THEM.

I had a really cheap one from TARGET, and that worked fine until I lost a bag or something... and the zippers broke too. Now I BARELY have luggage and would like to not have to borrow every time I want to go somewhere. This one would be awesome to get for my anniversary too, since then I would HAVE it for Christmas.

You know American McGee's Alice right? Well, in conjunction with a vinter, they have a series of wines too! There are two reds, and it LOOKS like there is supposed to be THREE wines period but... ya know?

These are two Disney albums from the nineties, and at one point I had both; I don't care if they're childish. I found the cassette for Spplashdance in the garage of where I'm living now... and I now hear they are out on CD!!! So I would like both of them

Sleeping Beauty and Robin Hood
More Disney things! Sleeping Beauty and Robin Hood were, arguably, two of my favourite Disney cartoons as a child. Now, I don't know if Robin Hood can be gotten, since I believe it was locked into the vault. However, Sleeping Beauty is now out on DVD for a limited time!

Apple Power Cord and Keyboard
I have a Apple iBook G4, and a few years ago the charger frayed and lit on fire. I would like a replacement for that, for sure, and my keyboard is missing some keys.
Gift Cards
Doesn't it sound silly that I'm putting this on the list? I mean think about this for a second; since gift cards started being carried by places other than the retailers they are spent at, this is what a LOT of people get for Christmas and Birthday. Mostly because people might know a STORE someone likes, but no idea what they would get there. Instant happiness for the recipient. So.... just below are some stores or restaurants I would take GCs to.
Stores: Whole Foods, Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret, Sephora, BORDERS, Best Buy
Resurants: PF Changs, California Pizza Kitchen
Note: I am also on Amazon, where I have a Wish List that has some of these things on it.
