Hellofest 7
Last Saturday, Hellofest 7, one of the biggest event in Indonesia was held! X33 It's a short movie competition + cosplay competition. Last year I went cosplaying with my sister as Harmonia sisters of Sound Horizon, but this time I was determinded to come and enjoy the event as a visitor! I didn't even bring my camera (a little regrettable, but it's okay) because I really just want to wander around and watch the performances and short movies. And boy, I had so much fun! <3 after weeks of cooped up in my house, it was really great to see my friends again ;w; cosplay friends, and college best friends I no longer see regularly... ...*insert I-miss-them-so-much-and-wah-I'm-so-lonely comments here*
The performances was amazing! My personal highlights were:
1. A group I knew made a funny Toy Story skit! I was very giddy when they appeared, even when they haven't entered the stage yet xDD Totally made my day!
2. A really adorable Harvest Moon skit! A lot of them are my cosplay friends xD *bias* But really, they were adorable <3<3
3. A very peaceful Star Wars skit. oh boy the ending XDD Everyone was like "WHAAAT" when they all started hugging each other. WHAT indeed!
4. This Dragon Ball skit. MODAR SIA!!
Those are my highlights, but most of them are enjoyable <3 There was one .hack//GU skit, the cosplayers are awesome and the fights were cool, but they used the video and sound of Haseo fighting Azure Kite when they're cosplaying Haseo and Azure Balmung. XDD *fangirl protes*
And the movies! I couldn't watch them all because it was getting too late, sadly. Also, we (my siblings and I) didn't get any seat in the main screening room, and had to rely on the outside projectors. ;3; The projectors are fine but the speaker sucks; there was this one action-ish movie that we couldn't understand anything from because we couldn't hear the dialogues. My fav was an animated Javanese comedy XD
And that was it, I guess. :DD Last year as a cosplayer, this year as a visitor... I wish next Hellofest I'll come again as a movie contestant! XD
