One of the weird things about Torrington are the cats. I thought that being out here in the country with so many ranchers and farmers there'd maybe be Dogs roaming the street but theres a large number of cats! yes dogs in fences sure . Weve given the cats names and call the group the "hellcats"... their little gang. They arent trouble and they come peek in our windows from time to time etc. Heres the odd Torrington part tho, They live under the streets and I guess in the summer they round up a bunch of them but theres basically this colony of a hundred cats or so living in this subteranian world of felines. Im picturing something from Disney of course, one brings home a fish and they all burst into song or maybe they have a high tech society or maybe its the stageing ground for the nationwide invasion...who knows.
