Title: A Baka’s Love Story (Part One)
Pairing: Jun/Aiba
Rating: PG-13 ( so far... )
Genre: AU, Fluff, Humour, Angst, Romance
Summary: Jun and Aiba have never really gotten along despite the fact they’ve been together for so long, do they really hate each other or is there some deeper meaning? Read to find out more!
Aiba Masaki sat in a booth behind a group of crazy fangirls, with his shoulders hunched over the table. His mind was firmly set on the food in front of him - it looked and smelled so delicious after all - but when one of the girls squealed “LOOK AT THIS QUIZ!” he straightened his back. The Miracle Boy loved quizzes...
The squealing girl began to read aloud as Aiba continued eavesdropping.
“Are you in love? Find out by taking this simple quiz! Question One: Have you known your crush for a long time?”
Aiba decided he would try the quiz and silently answered yes to the first question. He wasn’t quite sure why he was taking a love quiz but he answered none the less.
The girl continued:
“Does your heart beat faster or skip a beat whenever your crush is near you?”
Yes.
“Do you find it hard to speak in front of your crush?”
Not really ... but yes.
“Do you find yourself thinking about your crush when you should be focusing on other things?”
Sometimes.
“If your crush was hurt would you help them?”
Well DUH!
Just when Aiba was ready to give up, the last girl read the results.
“If you answered ‘yes’ to three or more of these questions then you are head over heels in love - ”
A wide grin spread across Aiba’s face when he heard this. By the time the girl’s were in hysterics he was already half way to the door. He had to tell someone the good news!
The door to the Arashi green room was slammed open as Aiba barged in while constantly screaming “SHOCHAN, SHOCHAN, SHOCHAN, SHOCHAN!”
Sho-chan nearly jumped out of his skin when the blubbering Aiba started attacking his arm. “Aiba-san will you calm down, I can’t understand a word you’re saying, Aiba... AIBA!”
The taller man stopped his screaming and took a deep breath while the other put down his paper knowing full well that dealing with an excited Aiba was a feat in itself. He guided Aiba to the couch and sat him down.
“Now what is it you’re so eager to tell me?” Sho-chan asked softly.
“Sho-chan I knew it, I think I knew it all along - I’m positive in fact! I’m in love. I’ve always been in love, can you believe it?”
“I believe you’re speaking too fast.”
“Sho-chan~” Aiba whined as he reclined, letting his head fall over the edge of the couch.
“You said you love someone right, so who is it?”
“I dunno.”
“What do you mean you don’t know?”
“I don’t know who I’m in love with, all I know is that I’m in love” Aiba replied normally.
Sho-chan gave him an incredulous look, no one but Aiba could fall in love with nobody.
Before he could say anything Aiba sat up and hugged him. “Thanks Sho-chan you’re such a great listener.” The miracle boy stood up; “YOSH!”
“Where are you going?”
“I’m gonna find who I’m in love with, silly” Aiba replied.
“But we have filming in half an hour” Sho chan said to an empty room, the miracle boy had already gone.

Once again the door to the Arashi green room was slammed wide open. Once again, Aiba came running in screaming.
Ohno and Nino were too busy fondling each other and Sho and Jun were at the wardrobe rack arguing over what clothes to wear. This meant there was no one to take notice of the miracle boy.
Aiba came up to Jun pulling him towards Sho before dragging them both towards the remaining group members. “Listen up minna san! I’ve discovered which one of you is the one I’m in love with!” he said to a room full of blank faces.
Jun turned to Sho-chan who faced Nino, who turned to Ohno, who looked back to Sho for an explanation but the latter could only shake his head. No one in the room except for Aiba knew what was going on.
“The one I’m in love with is you, Sho-chan!” Aiba pointed to the mother hen of Arashi.
“EH?!” Sho-chan choked. Ohno, being the level-headed leader he is, said ‘Oh’ while Nino commented on Aiba’s lack of intelligence. Nobody saw the look on Jun’s face, all eyes were focused on Sho, who was now on the floor due to shock.
Before anyone could continue, a staff member interrupted. They had five minutes before filming began.
Jun returned to the wardrobe rack and changed into the first thing he saw, he hoped no one saw the look he had on his face when Aiba confessed, little did he know that someone already had.

Ohno and Nino left the minute filming ended. Jun another photo shoot to get to and was busying changing in the far side of the room. This left Aiba and Sho sitting on opposite ends of the couch.
Little was said during the five minutes that past, then Sho-chan finally spoke; “Aiba what made you decide that you love me?”
“I don’t know, I guess Ohno and Nino are already taken so that left you or Matsumoto-kun so I chose you”.
“Why didn’t you choose Jun?”
“And Nino I’m the idiot. It’s obvious Matsumoto-kun and I would never work.”
“What makes you so sure?”Aiba turned to face Sho.
“We’re two very different people so different, in fact, we’re polar opposites. He’s like the South Pole and I’m North.” Aiba felt a sudden pang in his heart as he told Sho this. He may have fooled his mind and everyone else but his heart knew the truth. It wasn’t Sho who he loved most...
BANG! The door being slammed shut broke Aiba’s train of thought. “What was that?” he asked no one in particular.
“It was Matsumoto-kun. He had weird look on his face too” Sho replied.
