Sho was staring at the white poofy dress that was hanging in Ohno’s room. He touched the lace on the skirt wondering if Ohno was really going to wear the dress. He was tracing his fingers on the flower patterned bodice when Ohno walked into the room from the bathroom. Ohno stood in the middle of room, wearing nothing but his boxers, eyeing the dreaded dress.
“Are you really going to wear this thing Satoshi-kun?” Sho asked looking between the dress and almost naked Ohno, trying not to laugh at Ohno’s predicament.
“I don’t have a choice in the matter.”
“You still have a few hours before the ceremony. You can still run out to rent a tuxedo,” Sho tried to throw out a few suggestions at Ohno.
“Well, the tuxedo place refused to let me rent. They said something about someone sending threatening letters to them,” Ohno pouted looking at a box delivered that morning.
Sho nodded having a clear idea on who would have sent those letters. “You can buy a tuxedo from a men’s clothing store.”
Ohno shook his head again, looking lost as he explained “I don’t have enough money to buy.”
“We can go to the bank or an ATM machine,” Sho supplied helpfully.
“I don’t remember my account number or the PIN for the card. Nino takes care of the finances, and he is even kind enough to provide me with some change everyday so that I won’t have to walk home,” Ohno smiled thinking of Nino’s kindness.
“Ohno-kun!” Sho gaped at him, but he left his thoughts unspoken.
Ohno walked to the box and opened it. Sho peered into it from behind. “What is this?” Sho asked curious.
“Oh, my sister sent me this package this morning. She said I could use these today, I’m not really sure what exactly is inside.”
Sho nodded silently as Ohno carefully removed the contents of the package and laid them on the bed. Sho, unable to hold it in any longer, burst into laughter. They were looking at lacy white garter belt, white lace stockings and a pair of white dress shoes made to his size. A note lay at the bottom of the package and Ohno picked it up to read.
“I know you practiced walking using my shoes and I thought you should have your own pair for the wedding. These should match the dress. I’m sure your husband will have fun removing them. The second package should complete your outfit.”
Ohno stared at the note while Sho sat down on the bed, laughing at Ohno’s expense. “Wait, did that note say there is a second package?” Sho asked wiping his tears.
At Ohno’s nod, Sho asked, “Where is it then?”
At that moment, there was a knock on the door. “Call your sister to tell her you only received one package,” Sho said as he went to answer the door.
“Sho-chan!” Aiba smiled brightly when Sho opened the door. “Here, they accidentally delivered this to the wrong room,” Aiba held out a package.
“Oh ... Ohno-kun, you don’t need to call your sister. The package is here,” Sho called out accepting the package.
“I’ll be going then. Nino is quite nervous,” Aiba giggled softly looking at Sho.
Sho nodded closing the door, not sparing a thought to Aiba’s giggle.
Ohno took the box from Sho’s hands and laid it on the bed. Ohno stared at the box as if it contained unknown evil. At Sho’s nudge, Ohno reluctantly opened the package and stared at the contents in confusion. Sho blushed slightly looking at it and started laughing again.
“What are these?” Ohno wondered out loud picking up what looked like silicon jellies.
“Ohno-kun, I think those are fake breasts. Your sister sent you breasts as a present for your wedding!” Sho collapsed on the bed laughing hard at Ohno’s expression.
Ohno picked up a note at the bottom of the box and read it, “These are a request from my brother.”
Ohno looked at Sho confused, “Sho-kun, I never requested these things!!!”
Sho shook his head, “No, that package isn’t from your sister. That’s from Nino’s sister. It looks like they went shopping together! You know, you should probably start getting ready if you want to walk down the aisle in time!”
Ohno sighed, resigned to his fate as he put the silicon down on the bed and looked at the dress. Sho shook his head wiping off his tears, “You should probably be afraid of the corset more than the dress itself.”
“Corset?”
“Well, yes. Didn’t anyone tell you? The three of us thought you could use it when we heard you were wearing a dress. Jun even had it custom made for your comfort. It’s in the closet,” Sho said walking to the closet and bringing out a white corset crested with lace and sequins.
“I don’t think I can do this!” Ohno cried, sitting down on the bed.
Sho walked over to Ohno and patted his shoulder, “I can only imagine what you’re going through. Believe me, I’d help reduce your humiliation in anyway I can, but there is nothing I can do. Besides you said that you loved Nino and really wanted to make him happy and marry him. So you can’t run away now. Think of it as a performance. We wear some really silly outfits during concerts, this shouldn’t be worse than those times.”
“I suppose so. If I run away now, I’m sure Nino will be very angry… I don’t think I can handle an angry Nino right now,” Ohno sighed thinking about the previous night’s punishment. Ohno blushed at the aches and pains and the carefully concealed bruises left by scarves and strips of cloth on his hands. “Let’s do this then. I’m sure you’ll be busy soon too,” Ohno muttered standing up, looking at the bed.
“Yeah…do you know what you should be wearing first?” Sho asked looking a bit confused at all the articles of clothing and accessories on the bed.
At Ohno’s denial, Sho looked around him, “We need help. Let me go get Jun, perhaps he has an idea on how to work these things.”
Leaving Ohno anxious in the room, Sho walked across the hall and knocked on Nino’s room. Aiba’s head popped up from behind the door and seeing Sho at the door, Aiba’s face broke into a smile, “Hiya~ Sho-chan.”
“Hi. Is Jun here?”
“Yeah, why do you ask?”
“We need him in there for something.”
“Oh ok. Jun-chan, Sho wants you. Well, he doesn’t really want you coz he is mine, but he needs your help,” Aiba yelled into the room, “He’ll there soon. You know, you should get ready soon,” Aiba continued as he turned back to look at Sho with a giggle.
“I will, as soon as we help Ohno with his problems. I only need to shower and change. It won’t take long,” Sho assured Aiba as Jun emerged from behind Aiba.
“You want me Sho?” Jun asked with a smirk.
“Well, Ohno needs your help,” Sho said heading back to Ohno’s room, not exactly revealing what they wanted Jun for. By the time they returned to the room, Ohno was pouring himself a second glass of vodka with a smile, clearly buzzed.
“Why are you drinking at a time like this?” Sho almost screamed, running to take the glass from Ohno’s hand.
Jun closed the door behind him and surveyed the bedroom. He took in the articles of clothing and the accessories strewn on the bed and then at Ohno’s pleasant face. “So?” he asked sitting down on the sofa.
Sho turned to Jun, putting the glass down, “We have no idea how to wear some of those things or even what order Ohno should be wearing these things.”
Jun snickered softly and went to Ohno, “Let me help you then.”
Sho remained silent, walking to the sofa so that he wouldn’t be in the way.
“Oh you better learn this too Sho-chan. It will come in handy,” Jun snickered again as he picked up the corset and helping Ohno into it. He slid the fake breasts into place and surveyed Ohno.
Sho gave Jun a confused look, “What are you talking about? How could this possibly come in handy? It’s not like I’ll get tricked into wearing a dress like Ohno did!”
Jun shrugged, grinning widely as he helped Ohno. “Shouldn’t you go back to your room now? If you don’t start getting ready now, you might not make it in time. And Nino wants everyone in make-up.”
Sho stared at Jun, “I’m not wearing make-up!”
“You wear it almost everyday Sho,” Jun pointed out, helping Ohno with the garters.
“Not in private!”
“Go argue with Nino then. I’m not the one who made that a rule.”
Sho got up and walked out of Ohno’s room and right across the hall to Nino’s. His thunderous knock was answered by a smiling Aiba, “Hi Sho-chan.”
“Where is Nino? I want to have a little chat with him!”
Aiba took a look at Sho and stepped out into the hall, “Well, you probably shouldn’t approach Nino right now. He is in no mood to talk.”
“I am not wearing make-up. That’s just … silly and wrong,” Sho sputtered at Aiba’s response. Aiba smiled at him and wrapping their fingers together led Sho back to the hotel room they were sharing, “Why don’t we talk about it when Nino is in a better mood? Let’s get you showered and changed now. You’re the only one who isn’t dressed yet!”
Sho looked down at their looped fingers and sighing, he nodded, “Fine, we’ll talk to him after I change.”
Aiba smiled and nodded at Sho, “That’s good. Now you go on in, I’ll lay out the clothes for you. Hurry up ok? If not, I’ll be forced to join you to help you shower!”
Sho smiled and blushing slightly in embarrassment, he walked into the room.
When Sho disappeared into the room, Aiba dialed Jun’s number, “Sho is in the shower. Nino is all alone now. You better be careful. We can’t let him find out that his sister played a prank on him and Ohno! And, you better keep your word…” he trailed off when Sho stuck his head out.
“Ma-chan…” Sho smiled, eyes twinkling.
Aiba’s throat dried up at the look and giving Sho a smile, he switched off his phone and followed Sho.
“You need someone to wash your back Sho-chan?”
“I’ve been sore since last night. I don’t remember why exactly my hips hurt. So I thought perhaps one of your massages would help me… ne”
Aiba grinned at that and followed Sho into the bathroom, “Uh… various reasons…” he muttered getting rid of his clothes in a hurry.
An hour later, they emerged from the bathroom, wide contented grins plastered on their and flushed faces. “You know, you’re right. We should try out other places too,” Sho said walking to the closet.
“See, I’m always right. I know what I’m talking about. Does that mean you’ll try out the beach with me tonight?” Aiba asked drying his hair with a towel.
“If its dark enough…I suppose we could try,” Sho said opening the closet. His words died down when he saw an empty closet.
“Umm… Aiba, where are my clothes?”
Aiba turned his back to Sho and bent down to pick up his clothes. “Don’t you remember? Last night you donated them.”
Sho turned to stare at Aiba’s back, “Donated?”
“Well, yes. We were all drunk and we thought a hot air balloon made out of Armani would be excellent to try out. We even gave left over strips of cloth to Nino. I wonder what he did with them,” Aiba said happily ignorant of the horrified look on Sho’s face.
“I’ve nothing to wear to the wedding?”
“Oh don’t worry. Jun took care of it. He had your clothes delivered this morning,” Aiba said buttoning up his shirt.
“Why didn’t you say so earlier?” Sho complained, “Where are they?”
“In that garment bag,” Aiba pointed to a white garment bag hanging on a hook as he buckled his belt.
Sho carefully pulled out the clothes from the bag and laid them on the bed, “Umm… Aiba, I think we got someone else’s clothes by mistake.”
Aiba looked at the ankle-length hot pink skirt and a matching sleeveless top on the bed and shook his head, “No Sho-chan. We got the right clothes.”
Sho looked at Aiba confused, “But they are girls’ clothes Aiba.”
“No Sho-chan. You’re wrong. They aren’t girls’ clothes! They are the latest fashion in men’s wear,” Aiba said with a bright smile.
“Did Jun choose these clothes?” Sho asked touching the skirt, “This can’t be the latest fashion Aiba! This is a skirt… made of silk!!!!”
Aiba shook his head vehemently, “No Sho-chan, you’re wrong. All of KAT-TUN has worn these before and even Jun-chan wore in a concert.”
Sho looked at Aiba like he had lost his mind, “They had pants underneath them and that was for concerts. No one would wear these on a regular basis!”
“I’m sure your fans will wear them Sho-chan” Aiba said calmly, applying gel to his hair.
“MY FANS!!!! My fans are all girls Aiba!!!” Sho said panicking a bit.
“But Jun-chan went to the trouble of getting these made just for you. He went to the designer and told him exactly what he wanted. I feel sorry for the designer though, the guy ran out of material before he could sew the pants. But Jun said its ok coz nobody will see the pants anyway. You can just pretend that you’re wearing pants underneath,” Aiba explained in detail turning to face Sho.
Sho shook his head, “No I’m not wearing that thing!”
Aiba’s eyes widened, “You’ll walk down the aisle naked?”
“No!”
“You don’t have anything else to wear.”
“I can borrow your clothes.”
“No, my clothes were also sacrificed for the hot air balloon.”
“I’ll wear yesterday’s clothes then.”
“They already went down the laundry chute.”
“Ohno…”
“And don’t even think about Ohno’s or Nino’s closets. They won’t fit you.”
“Jun…”
“Really?”
“I guess not,” Sho muttered looking at the pink skirt and top on the bed.
At that moment, there was a knock on the door and Nino walked in, “Jun won’t let me into Oh-chan’s room.”
“Come on in Nino. Why don’t you sit down over there,” Aiba said pointing to a chair.
“Is Nino drunk?” Sho asked looking at the slightly wobbly walk of Nino.
“Shhhh… He isn’t drunk Sho-chan. He was just fortifying himself,” Aiba explained picking up the skirt.
“Do you think he can even read his vows?” Sho asked as Nino sat down.
“Ne, Nino-chan, don’t you think Sho will look manly in this?” Aiba asked hold out the skirt.
Nino studied the skirt carefully and nodded his head, “Sure, whatever you say. Why won’t Jun let me see my Oh-chan?”
“You can see Oh-chan in less than an hour. You’re not supposed to see the bride before the wedding anyway,” Aiba said handing the skirt to Sho.
“I don’t want to wear a skirt!” Sho complained taking it from Aiba.
“Stop whining Sho-chan. I’ll go get Jun to explain to you that it’s not girly. And don’t let Nino drink anymore,” Aiba warned going out the room.
By the time Jun walked into the room, alone, Nino and Sho were having a friendly glass of wine. Sho was explaining to Nino that lying was bad.
“Shut up Sho! I’ll tell your parents that you’re a cross-dresser in secret!” Nino yelled at Sho, “Jun! I’m going to go see my Oh-chan now. No one can stop me!”
Jun shook his head, “No you won’t. You’ll stay here and help me with Sho.”
Sho looked at Jun, “I’m not wearing that skirt no matter what you say.”
Jun considered Sho’s comment carefully, “Well, if you want to go walk down the aisle naked, I won’t stop you.”
Sho sighed sitting down on the sofa, downing the rest of his wine.
“Don’t worry Sho. That really is not a skirt. It’s just a wrap that’s supposed to go around the pants, but my friend ran out of material. Aiba was telling you the truth. No one will even know you’re not wearing pants underneath it,” Jun assured him giving him a nudge.
“There is no other way?”
“No there isn’t. I’d lend you a pair of pants, but I’m skinny compared to you. They won’t fit you,” Jun said helping a reluctant Sho into the skirt.
Sho was far too distracted by Nino’s angry demands to notice the arrival of a stylist and make-up artist. It was too late to protest by the time he noticed them flanking his chair. His protests were drowned out by Nino’s angry yells, demands and orders.
When the music began an hour later, an exhausted Aiba and Jun were standing beside a slightly drunk Nino. Sho, also slightly drunk, walked down the aisle with a small bouquet of three roses in his hands. He was still trying to figure out why was it that he had to walk down the damn aisle when Aiba and Jun got to stand next to Nino. He also didn’t understand why Aiba had thrust those roses in his hands right before the ceremony began. With no time to complain, and not wanting to spoil Nino and Ohno’s day, Sho reluctantly walked down the aisle where Nino’s family was seated on one side and Ohno’s family on the other.
Glaring at Aiba, Sho stood to the side as the organist began playing ‘Here comes the bride’. Everyone turned to watch a veiled Ohno walking down the aisle in his white poofy dress. His high heels barely making any noise on the carpeted floor. The bouquet of white lilies covering up most of his chest and the fake boobs. As he finally reached the altar, he let out a tiny hiccup and gave Nino a bright drunken smile.
Aiba and Jun helped Nino and Ohno remember their vows. Sho sat quietly in his seat, not wanting to draw attention to himself. Once the ceremony was over, the guests were exuberantly wishing the happy couple. No one noticed Jun pulling Aiba aside.
“Oi, you better keep your side of the deal,” Jun whispered.
“I’ll pay for all the jewelry you buy on your next shopping trip,” Aiba smiled as they joined everyone else to wish the happily married couple.
“We should go back now,” Sho said, wanting to get out of the outfit.
“Ne, Sho-chan. We should get married too,” Aiba smiled kissing Sho into silence.
