thoughts in general
So the last few nights have been kind of boring, mostly because I stayed in and didn't do much or have much work to do. Tonight I went to the hockey game and drank one beer in the parking lot with friends which was fun because the guys who got us the beer were parked next to us and they were listening to their music and we would look at each and sometimes roll down the window to say stuff. We watched the rest of the hockey game and then came back to the dorm.
I dropped my other friends off at the bar downtown (with my friends car)so they wouldn't have to walk in the cold. Now I'm just hanging out until I have to leave to pick them up. They got there at midnight and the bar closes at 1am so it's not that much longer and I really didn't mind.
The weather's gotten colder but there hasn't been like any snow! Now I HAVE to wear covered shoes. I wish there was more snow because then I'd seen a legitimate reason to wear boots.
I'll be back on Maui in 18 days!!! Woohoooooo! I am soooo looking forward to seeing the ocean(although I did see the Atlantic Ocean over break, I want to see the Pacific lol) and go surfing and my mom, dog and my friends. I don't really miss much else. Last night I went through my yearbook and my pictures and realized how much I miss them but I'm not homesick in the sense that I get really sad etc... I LOVE it here and I have great friends and like my classes. Finals are coming up which sucks but I have to study a TON!!! I really want to do well on them.
This week went by so quickly and if it's like this until the last week of school it'll be awesome because I'll be that much closer to home:) I leave on the 22nd and residences close on the 18th but it looks like I'm staying with a friend who lives in Syracuse. She's not positive that I can stay but I hope it works out because that'd be fun too! My stopover is in Chicago which will be fun because I've never been to that airport and I heard there's lots of stuff.
I don't have much more to say. There's not much in terms of guys and stuff, I mean there are guys but that subject remains pretty uneventful. My friends make up for my lack of guys though and they have lots of drama going on so I'm alright. Often I wish I had a boyfriend or a really good guy friend that I feel comfortable hanging out with. College guys aren't that much more mature than high school guys. They can just drink more and college has more freedom so they "seem" more mature when they aren't. Some guys are gentlemen but the majority are jerks, assholes etc... Christmas break will be a good break from some of the guys here, or more so the types of guys here.
This is like the longest entry I've written in a long time. If I don't have lots of comments I will be heartbroken. If you comment I WILL reply because I check this several times a day(boy do I have time on my hands). Love you all and if you know someone that I know who has LJ and I don't have them as a friend tell me so I can add them. Muah<3<3
