On Thankgiving Break
Hey there everyone!!! I left Geneva yesterday afternoon and now I'm in Newburyport, MA. Christine's dad met us in Albany where we got a ride with Heather who also drove Andy. It was a nice ride. Last night after we got here we had food from a place called Famous and it was quite good. Then later we went drove around her town and to Plum Island and hung out with her friend Brody and his friend Alex. They're really cool guys. Alex goes to Northeastern and Brody goes to Dennison.
Today we woke up early to go pick up Christine's friend Drew and then her sister from school because Christine's parents let Ruthie (her sis) skip school after her first class with us to go shopping. We drove to Freeport, Maine and I bought pants, a shirt, lipgloss, pj pants, and comfy capris. The drive went through New Hampshire, so I was in three states that I'd never been to in one day! We got back a bit ago and Christine let me drive from Drew's house to here (reminder: I haven't driven in five months), but it was fine and I want to drive more. We were supposed to go the Olive Garden for dinner with Christien's girlfriends but that's not happening so we'll probably go to dinner with her family and hang out with her friends later.
My gosh this town is gorgeous, the houses are so colonial and because it's right on the Merrimack river and the ocean is closeby it looks very coastal-like but then again it is. I am so excited that I'm here and can't wait for the fun we have in store.
