Lotus Lyrics & Translation
Its like I'm destined to translate songs that start with "L"!
Here's my second attempt at translating a song and even though my eyes won't open properly, I'm determined to post it up!
And I'm trying a different method of presenting the lyrics so you don't have to scroll back and forth. Tell me if you guys prefer this or the other ^-^

T/N Notes:
[1] letting sorrow sleep
Its closer to "kill" but without the implied violence
[2] Covered in scars
Closer to "scratches" but it didn't sound right.. Plus, if you got scratched, it would leave scars, no? ^-^
[3] With hope in this hand
The word is closer to "desire" but more like wishing than wanting so I chose "hope" to keep the balance
[4] The things I hold in my hand
This is what it literally translates to but it can be better understood as "The things I have" to match with the next part, "The things I've lost"
[5] Even if we are covered by sorrow
Think of this as physically covered, like engulfed but of lesser intensity
[6] As I experience those certain feelings
Think of it as the feeling you have when you know something is right. I couldn't find a better way or translating it
[7] See [4].
Personal thoughts:
I'm not gonna pick out fav sentences cause the whole song is a masterpiece ♥
The hope, balanced with the admittance of of reality and the sorrow it brings is just beautiful~
Coupled with the beautiful play on pitch and chorus, it makes it into my top 10 ^-^
The PV is.. well.. I'll just save that for later for those who haven't watched it =P
As I'm sure I've said COUNTLESS times before, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song and I will karaoke the PV but probably later this week if you guys can wait for it ^-^ I'll be posting it on kiseki_arashi so look out for it! =D
