GOLF AND BEACH! 8D
soooo... yeah, it's been a pretty busy week so far and it's only Wednesday XD
on Monday, I went minigolfing with Tracy, Jonathan, Kevin K., and Kevin S.. Kevin and I were supposed to meet at Kevin S's house at 12:30 but... we were a bit late because Kevin had to go sell books back first. Once we got to Kevin S's house erm...Tracy left >.>' and the rest of us went to a mexican restaurant for lunch (...but since it was already 2 and i had to go home and eat dinner, i just got something to drink ). After going there, we headed back to Kevin's house and waited for Tracy to arrive, then finally decided to go minigolfing =D
i...suck at minigolfing SO much >.>' i had an overall par of 93...out of...108 -.-' i think Jonathan (the winner XD) had a par of like...59 or something >.>' ANYWAYS, yeah...Kevin S. lost his ball like...twice and...so did i ;o; (EVERY single time i go mini golfing i lose my ball at least once =/ ) I managed to get home right when my mom got home so woot =)

anddd... as for tuesday...we were supposed to meet at Kevin S's house at 10 so...Kevin picked up me and Jonathan a bit after 10 and off we went. Once we got there, we loaded up the stuff, and ...went to Max Food to shop around for food or whatever. We actually didn't get very much, just some chips, water, and Snapple. After that we had to go back to Kevin S's house so he could pick up the towels he forgot and FINALLY we were off...at a bit past 11am XD
It took us a while to get there...and we encountered much driving stupidity on the way there but we arrived finally around...noon-ish? and...set up camp XD. Sadly...the water was pretty green so Kevin S and Jonathan didn't end up going in the water, but Kevin and I jumped in anyways...i'm not sick so...it couldn't have been too bad eh? 8D
The water was way saltier than I remember seawater being though...maybe from having no rain around lately? i dunno o-o;
We weren't in the water for all that long really, but Kevin managed to hurt himself in that short amount of time. Suffice it to say...waves and boybits are definitely not made to collide XDDDD. After we went back to our spot, Kevin S. and Jonathan went walking around the pier to scope out what was there, and get some food so Kevin and I stayed behind and watched the stuff, talked whatever. Once they returned, we went over to the restrooms to change into some dry clothes. In that time, Jonathan managed to get the kite he bought working and flying ^^. We left him to watch all of our stuff, and the two Kevins and I went and walked around the pier for a bit. Kevin bought a banana split for us to share (so sweet~♥ ^o^ ) and Kevin S. got himself a chocolate smoothie thing...that apparently wasn't very good ._.' We walked down to where people were fishing and stuff, and then kept walking all the way to the arcade...which was like the most ancient thing i've ever seen i mean LOOK AT THIS!!

hmm...also passed by this marionette thingy that i couldn't resist taking a picture of
maybe because the little figurines were so creepy looking o-o;
Kevin challenged me to a game of air hockey because i'm not that bad at it...sadly... i lost by one point -.-' and both of us almost took off a couple of heads since we like managed to launch the puck OFF of the table and into the air <.<''
anyways, after that we walked back to the beach where jonathan was, and saw the kite flying...very high XD
sadly... we didn't see Jonathan...and the unopened chip bag had a hole in it...from BIRDS ><'
So...we looked around, and saw Jonathan in a group of people. Turns out there was a seal on the beach (or...sealion? i didn't really get a good look at it), but it soon flopped back out into the ocean ^^.
After that, we sat around and talked for a while longer before deciding around...4:30-5ish to head back home. Soooo, we lugged all of the stuff back to the car and away we went. About a half an hour before we got back to Kevin S's house, Matthew and Emily called Kevin and said that they were going to be at his house, so when we got back to Kevin S's house, Kevin and I headed over to his house. We stayed there for a while while Emily passed out on his couch, then finally figured that we'd go to (i think this is what it was called) Har Lam Kee for dinner. Sooo, we had Kevin S and Jonathan drive over to Kevin's house, and then with Kevin's sister Terry, went to the bank so Emily could get some money, and then off to the restaurant. The food was pretty good, and i think we all had a few good laughs =). After dinner, we dropped Jonathan off, then went to Tea Station and got drinks. I bought a green mango smoothie for me and Kevin it was...sour but...still pretty good! ^^ After getting drinks, Kevin S. dropped us all off at Kevin and Terry's house, and Emily departed for home, while I stayed for a little while longer and watched a Russell Peters comedy act with Kevin before finally heading home at like 11 ^^

when we got back from the pier, i noticed his left shoulder had a...rather large-ish red patch. so he slathered on some more sunscreen...but a while later, it had spread onto his chest...and to his right arm and down it somewhat. by the time we got back to his house...his WHOLE chest was bright red...as were his legs and face o-o;
i have to say... i think my sunblock failed us both miserably...though i burned considerably less than he did, only the upper half of my face, my upper chest and half of my right shin burned (odd no? XD)
