i haven't been in a hospital in AGES .______.'
so...apparently on Monday there was a power outage here...
luckily, i was at my mom's house playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess >3
before that though, i was watching Hell's Kitchen with my mom, and for the chefs' challenge, they had to go make food for "trend setters" in other words, they had to go to a school and get judged by students.
when my mom and i saw the school we (i shit you not) were like @________@ *point* AHHHHHHH!!!!!!! *look at each other* AHHHHH!!!!!! because, the school was Alhambra High School!!!! it was freaky seeing a school i spent like 6 years of my life at on tv XD (ok...that sounds bad, i should expound on that XD. I played in our local student orchestras which were based at Alhambra High ^^ )
anyways, today has been...rather eventful ^______^
erm... I walked to Garfield Medical Center around noon today to go visit Kevin since he had surgery yesterday afternoon. It took me about 40 minutesfor me to get there (that's a pathetic time since it's only about 1.2mi...but whatever, all that matters is i got there in one piece eh? XD) So, I got there and i figured it'd be a little harder to get upstairs to the patients than it was. I mean, I didn't even finish my sentence and the guy at the Information desk slapped a visitor wristband on me XD. So, I managed to find room 315 without too many problems, and Kevin seemed to be doing pretty well =). A bunch of his friends had come in earlier so, i'm sure that helped. Pretty sooon lunch came ...it looked like something that I'd get at home (and...actually, when I got home, I had almost the same thing for dinner o-o' ). Hmmm, a bit after that though, either the pain meds wore off or the food got to him because he started having a lot of pain ;-; (because...you know...being curled up NEXT to the bed isn't exactly a good sign =/).
Sadly, apparently he was afraid of freaking me out ._.' (WTF WHO THINKS OF STUFF LIKE THAT WHEN THEY'RE IN THAT MUCH PAIN?! seriously... -.-' ) Anyways, while we were waiting for the nurse to come with painkillers, his Aunt, cousins and sister came to visit. Finally the nurse came and administered some medication...which definitely did a lot of good ^^ Afterwards though, I guess he retired to the restroom for a bit to...well...rest (seriously i'm being literal o-o; ). During which time Matthew, Jason and his mom Angela came (i think that was a little after 2) They hung around for a while, and eventually Kevin's mom and his little bro came as well. They stuck around for a while, but everyone left by about 4 which left just me ^^; We talked for a while, with a couple of people coming in...sucking his blood, etc haha. I left around 4:40 since I had to be home for dinner and got home by about 5:05 (whoa... i must have totally been walking faster...or not hitting such long stoplights or...something ._.' )
oh yeah...did i mention that the whole day i've been shaking just the slightest bit? i wonder if anyone noticed, it was really weird ._.'
anyways, Kevin got released later in the night so yay ^^
and...lots of rest would definitely be a must (YA HEAR ME!!! D:<) <33
and...now i'm actually pretty tired so... i bid you all goodnight ^^
