hmmm... i suppose it'd sort of be correct spelled either way~
most of the people in my immediate area speak different dialects of chinese, and vietnamese (and a lot of people speak spanish too).
at my school for example, last semester in my asian american studies class, out of about 50 people...maybe 35-40 people in the class were speaking mandarin before and after class ended ^^'
it's weird, even though my mom and I have both grown up in the same place, she knows more spanish and i know more chinese XD
but...since i really haven't studied mandarin since i graduated from high school...it's gotten really really bad XP when you don't use it you definitely lose it (and fast!) >[
yeah...there really aren't too many korean resources here either, i'd have to go to KoreaTown in LA -_-' so i really haven't studied Korean seriously yet ^^;
